Gabe that wing will aesthetically balance your car with the extended nose look of the slant.

That wing will look awesome on your Turbo. It will complete the "935" transformation.

+ one on that wing. It is the missing component to complete the look. Actually Gabe, your car would look still cool if it didn't have a deck lid at all! But seriously, this wing was made for your ride!

Well we're going to go with that style wing but i'm waiting to hear back from the shop on the fitment of the intercooler for the wing, I don't want to hack up an original so once they let me know what will work we'll either go for the real deal or the A.I.R. one (if we have to cut it and modify it to work).

I totally agree on the asthetics point, it is THE wing...

I thought that rear deck lid went on another car and when talking to my buddy about a K3 wing for another 935 I bought it came up that this wing was still lose!

Yeah that Hagestad/Haywood 934.5 is badass .. it is virtually a 935 as it has a lot of 935 pieces including the ti axles....

Gabe , I will have photos for you by the weekend

Ok, there has to always be a dissenting opinion. Personally, i dig the GT2 wing more than the period correct 934.5 piece or the evo wing, which both look great on the race cars, but are a little too much IMO for the street.

I vote stay with the GT2...it will allow you to make some functional cold-air feeds into the turbos

Van, in the first pic through the oil cooler intake, is that carbon fiber weave I see? Is the whole wing carbon or fiberglass with a carbon wing blade?

The wings on most of my 935's have been carbon while the body parts/deck lid have been glass, ... I am not sure but I think it is glass

Gabe ,

If you decide you want the wing let me know...If you want it quick I need to know quick ... FYI, I will be in the UAE/Dubai driving in the 24 Hour race so I will be gone the first two weeks of Jan, if you want it and can wait until I get back that is fine by me

Yeah, what he said!!!

Love the old school pin-striping on the tail!!

I need to check my stash too.. I could have sworn there was similar tail laying around.

Van, well the shop is saying that if its carbon that makes it unusable as we'll have to cut the initial part that comes off the rear window and make it more horizontal to fit the intercooler because as it sits it will conflict with the flanges:

So I think I'll pass on an original for now until I get a different intercooler designed. I'd rather cut up a replica than an original.

Have fun in the UAE, I was in Dubai last week, the weather was BEAUTIFUL for once

Gabe,

Think this is the first shot I've seen with the engine fitted. Did you get to do some testing while you were here? Thoughts comments or did I miss this elsewhere?

Love the way the matte-blk finish accentuates the cures and changes in body contour!!

Yeah didn't get to do any testing as the rear brakes still weren't done but its all good. I'll be taking delivery in June after the dyno time and track time to settle the car in. That's the first chance I'll have to get back to the US. Check the sig link for more pics of the engine lid lifted. Glad you like

Gabe - every next shot I see of that thing has me more astounded. Farquin' A! The juxtposition of the polished wheel / intercooler against the caught-in-the-right-light sheen of the matte body and all its firckin resplendant curves, contours, and character - punctuated by them subtle yet violent dual center tips - man 'o f'n man.

Relegatin me to JoJo the Idiot Circusboy here that thing does.

Sorry, had to get that off me chest.

8-)

What's best is that you've (IMO) cobbled something better than the Family isself. Execution in its finest.

Awesome.

Captain Obvious Prediction: your creation is nearing masterpiece and destiny will present much awareness / appreciation for it and you as it rolls (FLAMES!) public.

Just sayin' 8-).

I think you misunderstood me ..... all 935's I have owned , the deck lid has been fiber glass and only the element has been carbon . So the decklid is fiber glass. But that is OK . We were keeping that wing in our spares and would only consider letting it go to someone in the loop

There will be 90 cars going off at the start....and the track in Dubai is awesome. Also going to hit the desert in a sandrail for some serious fun!
