I missed the part where the drip rails were removed. Looks awesome!

Why mess around with the little tails?

Van you are living the dream aren't you

Hey Gabe, Paul could not have been more poetic in the description of your car, it is absolutely outstanding and one of my favorite superlatives RESPLENDENT which means brilliantly shining but clearly as this is a matte finish it is a shine of confidence in its sinister nature.

Your car is damn " fiery smoking hot"...I get scared that I need to keep two things by my side when I open your BlackBird thread:
1) Halon fire system
2) Local Fird Dep't on call...just in case...

You should send some of your Aluminum (intercooler, bits, pieces etc) to me...it will leave my little hands looking like jewellery...have you seen some of my work?

Yasin

Nothing too fancy . A BMW with a diesel .... never even knew such a car existed. This race is dominated by Porsche's . They have over 100 sign ups and will allow 90 cars for the start . Teams from all over the word , should be fun.

Using Van's 934.5 rear tail is the missing link for your beast. Anything short of this will be the Black Bird's flaw. It is your car...and what a car it is, so what ever makes you hapopy is cool.

My opinion which really means nothing...is that the GT2 style wing is too modern for your oldschool 935 look.

Very nice build!

Van - You have a PM

krasuskyp: You have a way of putting things just right - thanks so much, glad you can enjoy it as much as I do. It wouldn't have been possible without the help of this board.

Schnele - thanks, originally I wasn't sure about keeping the intercooler but research has shown that its hard to find a better one for this motor. Eventually I will have one done with Secean cores (sp?).

Yasin- I might take you up on that offer, PM me with details on what exactly you do.

kycarguy 935 - Thanks, it was the first thing done to the chassis - I hated the drip rails.

Cole - Amen

flatsixnut - yeah its modern but essential for the motor that's in there - but don't worry it will be one of two tails seen on this car

Ed - Yes correct, that is my work! Thanks for the plug, I greatly appreciate it. I have literally hundreds of before and after pics from polishing and restoring parts for many folks over the years.

My very best - Yasin

Amen Dutchie - I'm going to be sending it to Yasin here in a little bit .

Flieger - I'm going to find out who the best person to restore the wheels fans is and have them do them. They'll be on there in a month or two .
