you beat me to it...Gabe, I think you'll need to shake her down a couple times on the backroads in Thomasville before we all head back to Charlotte.
btw...I call 2nd |
Well just to update this old thread, thanks to all who have helped, the kind words and criticisms...this car belongs to the community as it would not have been possible to create it without the help and advice from so many of the wonderful people here on Pelican.
Here's the cover shot that shows her in her best possible light...total darkness. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2556/...f3108524_b.jpg |
That's a totally intimidating pic (in a good way)! It's sitting there like a fighter jet waiting for its next kill.

F*** the Cayenne, Panapukester, and the modern country-club 911s/Turbo.... this is the TRUE spirit of Dr. Porsche and the speedshop racing dept guys of the 70's/80's that made Porsche into a company that was synonymous with total azz- kicking and objects of lust.
Job well done bro!!! Well worth all the headaches to get there. |
Gorgeous!
|
bad........ ass......
|
This car is truly in its own league!
Well done to all who helped build this magnificent beast. |
I have a new windows backdrop now ;)
|
VERY nice work Gabriel!
You've really captured the heart and soul of the Porsche 935 factory and customer race cars that I remember seeing fly around the Road America race course during the late 70's and early 80's. The best thing about your car is that you can enjoy it on the street as well. Keep us posted as to your future development efforts...LOVE the photos, too! ____________________ Steve 1989 930S Factory Slant |
Awesome shot Gabe, I am amazed that water actually came to rest on your beast, I guess you can't scare nature with that thing eh.
|

Wow, I cringe when I see pictures like that. Great power going on but man are those headers catching hell, literally. Ha!
|
Man that is SWEEEEEET! Wonder what temp the headers are at.

C'omon Brian - headers are a wear item :) hahahahaha

You might want to have some Inconel headers fabed up. Looks like there might be a restriction @ the collector (orange coming in and white hot right after). Nice car and pics.

The headers is showing that the devil is trying to come out.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...amingdevil.gif
