Cool! I always wondered why they stopped, I mean what changes made them stop?

Oh my! Looks like Eddie power wheelied in 2nd gear! I wonder how much easier it is to wheelie a 911 versus a normal front engined car?

Lots of torque and sticky tires, not much of a difference from a front engine car, probably easier if you got the torque=Boost.

What I'd give to know his setup! He has to have the heads welded together running like 30+ lbs of boost I'd imagine to hit those hp #'s.

Let me see if I can answer some of those questions, first I know Bello has been posting around here but I don't think he is up to speed yet
![]() First thing is that this car suspension geometry is different from the original car therefore it was a learning curve but he is almost there, it sure looks easy but the amount of hours/work and frustration can't be explained specially if you are an army of one. That pass was a 22 psi of boost and no the cylinder heads are not welded, 35 psi is available but has not been implemented yet, Bello is old school and 25 psi will be good enough for him, for me, more is always better ![]() The life span of that particular engine is very impressive if you consider the type of work that the engine does, I will never forget the time that he drove to the Texas mile, ran 3 passes at over 230mph after that hr drove to the 1/4 mile track and made 3, 9 second passes and then drove back to South Florida. Bello's second last name is "Changes" I have never seen someone make so many changes in a motor in aims to squeeze as much hp as possible. The video is nice but the goal here is to break the 9.16, once I see the rear bumper touching the ground and a 8 second pass then this mission will be completed.............. Easy said than done!! ![]()

This has been my screensaver for ages. I have been talking to Eddie for a while now. The guy is such a humble guy and down to earth, I wish him nothing but success in reaching his 8 second pass. I know it's just a matter of time. God bless the fellow...

I remember this pic. It just makes me love my car even more. Good luck to him on reaching 8.

22psi is 1.5bar.
I think thats safely possible with a good intercooler and race gas or E85 during 1/4 mile or 1 mile runs. |

Not to mention Bello has been running these numbers (20+ pounds of boost and 1200+ hp) for years!
