It would seem that not only didn't you feel like "reading all that bs" but that you didn't feel like reading anything at all.

Yes I said BS omg it is the end of world. But for real you guys seem as bad as honda and sti kids you just go by k27 or bla bla did you ever look at the compressor map for this turbo. Not trying to put anyone down but there are not very many reasons that a turbo wont kick in and there are ways to fix it. I had a GT4094R full boost at 1900RPM. You need to pick a turbo that will operate in at least 60% of the turbos operating range or it will get damaged or be less effective than a smaller turbo. Also yes I did stop reading because I saw a bunch of posts about trying this and that no real turbo knowledge.

Yes, I know, way back in post no. 10. Thanks, though, for pointing that out.

The level where the engine (930 based) do spool, depends on the basic characteristics how the basic engine is build. The same engine as natural aspirated how it works without turbo gives you a hint how it would work with turbo and the rpm of spooling.
as if it is standard 930 as base, you can get some 100-300 rpm down because of characteristics of the engine with some perfectly fitting turbo variant. But then it also affects to the engine characteristics in higher rpm (how high you can go with usable rpm on overall and without lag in the boost). This is dependable of your fuel management system as well as engine management system. Most of the slightly altered 930 systems with optimized turbos don't spool very early (as modern engines), but might handle some quite high revs for turbo engine with still reasonable boost (no noticeable lag). I play with very old fashioned K-Jet management and with some nice mechanical hardware. My quite capable engine doesn't spool sooner than 3500-3900rpm, but it does go up to nice 9000rpm with full boost without hesitation (still with standard turbo piston rods) with my KKK27/32 combo. Now I'm testing some Holset variant as near as possible to my old KKK with the aim to keep same characteristics of my nicely working performance engine. The engine is one comprehensive unit with everything in it. If you want a great time earlier spooling engine, you have to work with your everything starting from exhaust system, engine management etc...
