How much power and how did you get there

I started this thread because I remember a gentleman named Lincoln and that he had a crazy 930. I want to know what mods you have and what power levels you achieved.
I'm researching what to do next. Thanks in advance!

I'm just starting out with this current car so wanted to get a base line to work from. Right now it looks like this.

Stock engine.
Stock headers.
K27.
1 bar spring.
Andail intercooler.
Open chamber muffler.

287.4RWHP 487.3FtLb

Plans.
Headers.
Adjustable WUR.
Water/Meth injection.
MSD6AL.

I don't need huge numbers but 400RWHP is a nice round figure lol.

Everything is better with pictures so here is the graph.

I'd be curious where folks here think mine might end up after I finally get my engine finished. Short block is together - hoping to get cams installed and timed this weekend. Trying to be back on the road by October (fingers crossed)....

`80 930
K27 7200 from RarlyL8
RarlyL8 headers
Borla muffler
1.0 bar spring
SC cams
Twin Plug
EFI conversion w/3.2 intake
Full bay intercooler

I'm guessing somewhere in the neighborhood of 425(+?) whp.

Not a 930, but......:

-3.4L, 7.5:1 CR P&C's
-stock Carrera 3.2 heads
-stock Carrera 3.2 cams (same profile as SC's)
-stock Carrera 3.2 intake
-1 5/8" headers/T4
-Borg-Warner 66mm turbo up to 1.3bar in 4th
-3" headpipe/muffler

Output: A LOT more than 431whp that the 60-1 HiFi turbo put out at 1.2bar.

The turbocharger will be holding you back. Best I've ever seen from a K27 is 455hp flywheel, all-in on a 3.5L on MODE's engine dyno. That would be about 395whp.
You'll need more compressor for your K27, especially at your altitude.
(Yup, can help you with that, too.)

You are pretty lean at max power. Be careful with your new car. Lambda over 0.92 is not so good. Better to take care of the enrichment, then add the 1 bar spring, rather than vica versa.

Yep. Agree 100%. We did one pull then got the car straight off the dyno. I stood to the side just looking at the Lambda meter as it was all I was interested in. Max power is neither here nor there at this stage, it was all about what's going on and what I need to do first because that's what baselines are for right? You need to now where you are before you move anywhere..
I got home and emailed Brian about an adjustable WUR before I did anything else. He has not emailed me back yet but I know he is a busy guy so it might take a few days.

This is what I've got:

•Complete Engine Rebuild
•3.4 Liter RUF Mahle P&C’s 7.5-1 Compression
•ARP Head Studs
•AASCO High Performance Valve job with springs and titanium retainers
•Ollies Machine Shop- Balance, rebuild rods, Crankshaft magnafluxed polished and heat treated
•911SC Cams
•Kokeln Ball Bearing Turbo
•Kokeln Intercooler
•Tial 46mm wastegate (1 bar)
•Nology Wires
•B&B headers w/heat
•B&B Exhaust
•Fuel Distributor enhaced
•New ERP copper oil cooler lines and thermostat
•New engine chains and rails, CDI box, Fuel Accumulator

No idea what the HP and torque are but I would be curious what would be the estimate.

I got this car 2+ years ago and it was with almost zero miles after all the work and I was breaking in the engine; original miles was 27k, now 36k.

Anyways, it has so much power then even big torsion and sway bars, custom Bilsteins, mono bushings , 17' big tires etc are not enough and suspension seems to be the weakest link.

Should be over or close to 400hp..btw..add some 935 spring plates, should help your suspension keep you pointing straight

Getting close to being done, would like to break 400hp to the wheels.
Out of my 77 930, wanted to keep it a 3.0 because I thought it would be kool for lack of a better word.
- Chambone 70.4 crank (4 lbs lighter than stock), a work of art.
- pauther rods
- JE pistons with a true 7:65:1 comp
- LN Jugs
- 993 SS Cams
- Twin Plugged
- Extreme worked heads with 38mm intake & Exh
- K27/29 from Brian
- Brians Headers
- Turbo Craft intercooler that fits under my 3.0 tail plus their ported injector blocks
- 3.6 Turbo injectors with upgraded fuel lines
- Adj WUR
- Modded Fuel head
- Snow WMI (just for saftey, gets hot in S.FL)
- GT3 Oil Pump
- Case is shuffle pinned
-Light weight FW
- Re-Geared tranny, stock 1st and short on up with a 152 top at 7K
Kept the CIS which holds everything back, but like the old school stuff. Probably left something out but hope to break that 400 Hp number to the wheels.
