aluminum injector block questions

I have the TK aluminum injector block set up ready to install. I'm assuming 3 gaskets per port, bottom & top of insulator, and between the top of the aluminum block & intake manifold. All installed dry.

Injectors, green sealing ring w/dow 55.

S/S intake studs installed w/a drop of red lock tight?

The gaskets go as you said. I like to smear a real thin film of moly grease on the gaskets so they don't stick if you remove them someday but you don't have to do that.

If you're using 930 CIS injectors there is no synthetic rubber sealing ring used on them. There is a skinny copper sealing ring that goes under them that gets installed dry.
I put a drop of motor oil on the fine threads (10x1mm I think) on the injectors before screwing them in snug.

The manifold studs are not stainless steel and any loctite will work good on them.

Doesn't matter, all 930 injectors have the same threads on them.
If you do an injector flow test and two of them flow a hair more than the others put them in #2 and #5.

what size ports and what intake ....

if stock intake has it been ported ....

this will determine what type of sealing you need

ported flat manifold will need to be sealed

heads, aluminum blocks , cis intake manifold bored to 40mm. They came with Reinz gaskets 71-24706-20. .
On the "sealant thread" it was suggested to use Three Bond 1194 between the head & insulator (no gaskets) and 574 on both sides of the top gasket. Or Curil T instead of 574. Not sure if he is referring to the top gasket as the insulator to injector block or injector block to manifold.

Gasket top & bottom, no gasket in between insulator & block.
Gaskets provided are standard 930 CIS intake manifold gaskets, bore size 40mm ID where it is circular.
Wet the top and bottom gasket with a sealant if you wish, ex: 574. Have not used Curil for this application, so cannot recommend either way.

Similarly, have not used Three Bond in this application, to date have not needed it.
