Increasing compression?

Is it possible to increase my compression just by shaving the heads. I have a 1978sc and would like ot do a few more mods. Maybe go to twin plugs also.

Yes, milling the heads will increase the compression ratio.

You won't need twin plugs for the small compression increase you would get from milling the heads. If you have the budget for twin plugging (an expensive proposition) I'd spend it on 98mm P&C's and make a 3.2 instead.
