2.4 jetting Weber carbs

Hi

I have built a new engine to my car. It started as a 2.4T -72 engine. I need help with jetting my Webers to the new spec. Carbs are set up with 110, 50, 145, f1 and 30mm venturios.

Spec is now...

E-cams
2.4S pistons
Ported heads 37mm/Intake and 36mm/Exhaust
40mm Webers..
Sportmuffler

Thanks
Henrik

Here are some examples with mixed results.

It looks like Zendalar has gone there before you. You might want to check with him regarding where he ended up.

In addition Cegerer's got a 2.5 with solex cams. His runs fine, but slightly rich and is jetted as follows.

Venturi: 34
Main: 140
Air Correction: 180
Idle: 55
Emulsion tube: F26

My car (73 2.4T CIS conversion) is equipped with 130 main, 55 idle, 180 air cor., F1 emulsion tubes and 30 mm venturis. A bit on the rich side but runs great and reliable on the street and on the track.

Here is a link to to a post I made something ago showing the effects of jetting changes on a 2.4E motor w/40mm webers.
40mm web jetting
The emulsion tubes will have an effect on the jetting. The most common e-tubes seem to be the F3 & F24.
