Yep, the Andial 8:39 R&P is going into the 930 gear box and thank you for buying it back in the day cuz they are now unobtainable!

Double checked all the boxes for the galley plugs and couldn't find them, but have found a few places online to source them from

I have JB'd most everything and will go back and get the rest too with thin coats. Thanks Guys!

Captain,

I see it is coming together, what is your choice for chain tensioners? I am going for pressurized with an internal travel limit.

If you don't mind I think I may have to make plans to visit your neck of the woods sometime in the next week or so and check out all the good work in person.

Would be nice to see my old baby up close again now that you have her all shiny and halfway put back together again, lol.

LOL, indeed, watching you put her back together the right way reminds me of the financial impact I knew I was in for if I did so myself. :P

PS - Been putting your contribution to my CNC fund to good use. Just completed my first CNC project from scratch, beginning to end, for my combined training project and birthday gift for my daughter.

Indeed, its good to know a piece of her childhood art can now last a lifetime.

I'm also planning on producing some adult art with the mill too so I can offset my investment by turning $20 pieces of aluminum into $250+ gallery art pieces, lol.

Working on the finishing touches for my engine plans so I'm still hoping to have the prototype done around the end of the year as well.

Awesome job. I assume that was your helpers pinion gear alignment tool? I was hoping you were able to borrow or rent one of those instead of having to buy such an oddball and expensive measurment tool.

Yep, he's got all the nice tools needed to do it right!

Don't get me wrong I like having lots of tools, but I've never had pay anything close to $10k for any one tool before

Also, he's not a helper. He's more like a pro's professional who's keeping my butt outta trouble as I wade knee deep into this project

GT3 style muffler

It will be a while before I'll be needing a muffler, but tell me what you think about this one?

Not bad, but as a fan of trying to keep the look somewhat stock I prefer side exits myself.

Modifying the lower bumper trim would be easier that way too, since you would only need to trim a notch in the right side where there is already a little damage.

True, that's why I like this one too! But with the GT3 I can get a custom fiberglass valance that cleans it up real nicely

Remember with the rarlyl8 mufflers you can have the tips exit pretty much where you want.

Good point and they're modular too, so if I want to calm the GT3 setup down some later on all I have to do is get the other pipes and clamp them on!

This is prolly the way I'd go to calm it some and still have great flow:
