We'll just have to borrow my neighbors tool kit for the spark plug tool to do yours too (I have so many tools but nothing fits like the toolkit tool and I lost all my toolkits when we moved) :)

Fair enough, I have a flexible craftsman socket that works like a charmSmileWavy

C2 idle valve orientation

should the arrow point up or down?
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1322021189.jpg

WERK I 11-22-2011 07:13 PM

The arrow indicates the direction of air flow.

Beautiful work,btw.

In other words, pointing towards the intake plenum.

vacuum port on C2 throttle body

is this port on the back of a C2 throttle body okay for the vacuum signal for the blow off valve?

WERK I 11-22-2011 07:23 PM

Is that port above or below the butterfly? You'd want a port below the butterfly for vacuum when the butterfly closes under boost conditions,

coils mounting location

this looks like a great place to mount the coils!

turbo nut 11-22-2011 09:28 PM

I have mounted the coils there on a plate worked out great. I also was using Ford EDIS modules and mounted them to the back side of the intercooler.

Not that you are asking for suggestions, but if you replace the front intercooler mounts with rods and heim joints, like in the linked pic, it would clean up the look considerably . . .
