I was at C.E.S all day yesterday... had some meets and then saw all the new stuff.

Nothing great or unexpected but it was fun.

I always figured Rhubarb was a mutant of the burdock plant, and that grows everywhere.

Oh yeah! Doesn't need hot weather like tomatoes, so does okay...

No fresh in the grocery store now, so guess we'll have to make do with frozen.

Back on topic, starting to rain...again!

Why yes it does. Lower left corner of photo in the big pot. Just out the front door for easy access.

?? The deck has a handrail w/ glass panels that you can't see in that photo.

Back to pie. There use to be a cafe in WA at the bottom of Rattlesnake Canyon that served pie ala mode. Interesting place with one big room the cafe in the right half and their living room in the other half. So you could sit in the cafe and watch TV in their living room.

Oh, 41F. and raining today riding to work.

Well, if you're purposely trying to make us insanely jealous...

You've succeeded!

Rick, I'm trying to talk SWMBO into glass deck panels like your's on our new house. How do you like them?

When we built the place we bought them for the view. You do need to wash them once a year or so. Usually do them at the same time as blowing the moss off the deck in spring.

Nice! Shame about all the hills and trees obscuring the view though.

You have moss?

Our new place (still in Seabeck of course) will have an unobstructed view of the Olympics. I'd like to avoid a traditional deck rail, and really like the glass panels. Guess I just need to do some cost comparisons for the CFO...

Thanks!

Jealous? I cannot help it if we are in Spring now (77 Wednesday after 72 Mo. and Tu.)

Look up Phoenix or Scottsdale weather. We are in Spring. Bushes are blooming, and I have Navel Oranges and Pink Grapefruits galore on the trees.

We lived near Camelback and Grand for several years...so I'm somewhat familiar with Phoenix climate.

But hey, thanks for the reminder!

And I used to work in Sun City, and also up on Mingus Mountain by Prescott.
It's not like the gigantic swell of a city is a secret...

And I spend springtime, a few weeks sometimes down in Ahwatukee

No...
Spring is when my friends pool is full of nice blue water, there's buckets of Coronas in ice, the women at the Four Peaks Brewing Company are in shorts and little else, and the smell of Hawaiian Tropic is in the air...
