we always eat these.

order and eat one and you'll know (maybe even move):
Julian Pie Company - Pies

one slice of apple mountain berry pie and you'll need to join a support group to quit.

Question to you Aussies. It is a common practice for our news and weather people to go outside in the extreme cold, and throw a cup of water in the air and watch it freeze in mid air.

Do your news/weathermen go outside in the heat and throw crushed ice into the air and watch it melt ?????

MMMMMMM............... PI

Sounds like someone has been shut in a little too much. Hope the weather gets above the 60s and 70s so you can go for a ride.

Rhubarb-Strawberry for me please! I'm good at stirring up a rhubarb...lol.

As a kid in Iowa, we lived with my grandmother for a couple of years. She loved to make fresh pies...for breakfast. Yes, I was a spoiled child!

If there is pie in the house it IS breakfast. A bowl of fruit encrusted in some pastry, is by far healthier than bacon and eggs.

If you like rhubarb, I have a recipe from 1897, from my grandmother, for cream rhubarb pie, 100 times better then Strawberry-Rhubarb, IMHO! My wife makes great pies, here Apple is as good as any I have had, no ice cream needed.

Pie NEVER lasts 24 hours in this abode! . My Gawd, I love pie! Not on my diet these days...but every once in awhile I do get some. Pie. LOL

Low carb high protein diet has been helpful over the last year, but can hardly wait until my birthday when I get to pick dessert! Please PM the recipe for cream rhubarb pie, I promise to keep the secret!

Now, to get back on topic, it's raining here. (Duh).

Cheers!

There are pies and then there are pies

Here is a pie floater...

Since I am lazy, I'll quote Wikipedia;
"The pie floater is an Australian dish particularly common in Adelaide. It commonly consists of a traditional Australian meat pie, usually sitting, but sometimes submerged (sometimes upside down) in a bowl of thick green pea soup".

Yum yum!

No, we sit in the lounge and watch our weathermen make fun of the American weathermen while drinking beer, Bundy or wine.
