My pool is ready, now, according to your description. We have Northerner women in shorts wearing tanks or less, and the smell of suntan oil is in the air.

They do not drink beer, just wine, and we have that.

We've had heat wave conditions down here. Over 40 degree C in Canberra. South Australia had 46 last week, lots of bush fires around and the ground is scorched

Sounds like our summer. But winter temps of 80 F yesterday, and 78 F today. We are 10+ degrees above normal.

Polar vortex is making an encore performance in the NE. Sitting at 3 above zero as I type. Dusting of snow, and sunshine, so all is good.

So far we haven't had a day or night below freezing. Plenty rain though. Winter is a bit weird this year. But I'm not complaining. I wasn't build for temperatures under 10C.

40C! That's 104F (had to look it up.) Don't think I've seen that here. Maybe 37C but that's very unusual. 38F (4C?) as I type. Was able to ride yesterday but stuck inside today and bored. Think I'll start another off topic thread.
