Nice looking vehicles I had a 74 with a 302, only had 8,000 miles on it when I bought it
wish I still owned it today had lots of fun in it. The original purchaser ordered it with the single fuel tank which only held 8 gallons and with a 302 under the hood that did not give you a big cruising range.... |

At my first job when I was 16 the boss tossed me his key to run an errand in his new Bronco. This was back in the early 1970s. It had a three on the tree and I had never driven one before. It was easy to adapt my shifting from my VW Bug to the Bronco.
It had a little bitty gas tank and he warned me to fill it up at the gas station a block away before parking in in our lot when I cam back. He put a 2 inch tow ball on the front bumper to make it easier to move his boat. I always remember the ball on the front bumper. I had never seen that before, but hey, I was only 16.

First of all, what a great buy. I have never owned one but I am a fan, molested or not.
Well done. I wish Ford would get the 2020 reset right, but they won't. I want something like this (I would buy it): ![]() But this is more likely: ![]() No matter. My son has the 2013 FJ and I get to drive my daughters 2006 FJ for a few years as she lives the NYC dream.
