Nice image of their friendship.
They have apparently become good friends in recent years. Did you see him slip her a mint during his dad's funeral. A warm moment in a sad day. Cheers Richard Last edited by tevake; 12-16-2018 at 01:12 PM.. |

Just goes to show that when you get people away from politics and all the BS it creates it allows them to act like human beings again.
We need fewer laws, fewer lawyers, fewer politicians and less attention to politics in general in society. That would go a long way to restoring civility in society. Power tripping lawyers and their nastiness are the worst thing to happen to the civility that used to exist in America. The further away from them I get, the happier I find myself being, the more positive and friendly the people and the better the quality of life in general. |

Apparently him giving her a piece of candy has become a thing between them as he has done that before . I am sure there is a funny story associated with how it started. Nice to see opposing sides get along like rational human beings .
I have no problem with a multiple party system , but I have a BIG problem when party politics gets in the way of common sense ! Both sides have dug so deep in the trenches that nothing positive can even be discussed ! We have some serious issues to resolve and we need a team of level headed individuals to come up with solutions that are good for the country. Sorry for the rant ...... Merry Christmas to all |

Judging by the epic temper tantrum by both parties, I think my vote was well placed. I call that picture 16 years of destroying our country. That guy destroyed it and her husband said, hold my beer and watch this. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

Why cant we all just get along man.
Because to do so means keeping the status quo and watching the liberals destroy our country piece by piece. Sure, it would be nice if the media and liberals would stop attacking Donnie but it wont happen. And, finally we have a man that doesnt care about optics. He only cares about helping fix the bloated corrupt DC swamp. This treatens the way of life of the clowns that only care about power and keeping it.

I am so used to your posts being old restored cars. I was shocked to see those two tete a tete. Perhaps you could photoshop them in an old model A Ford driving into the sunset...

I could but..... to me this is just a great picture, says a lot about what a little kindness can do. You can see they really care for each other. I don't want to say too much, there is a lot of negativity lurking nearby on this kind of subject.

Not sure why there would be negativity. Good to see people from opposite sides of the political spectrum that are capable of putting aside their politics and see the person, for the person.

One simply cannot imagine what those two have been through, their shared experiences of life under immeasurable pressure, never ending scrutiny (and most of it negative), and the immense relief it must be to have it all behind them. They are in a very, very small club - no one outside of it could even begin to understand. I think it is awesome that they have found a friend and an ally in one another. They have always struck me as being two of the more "real" people to have been in their respective roles, so I'm not surprised in the least that they have connected.
