Heads up - Amazon prime has a 5 episode series on Alonso called "Fernando."
Whether you like the guy or not it's a pretty good watch... You get an insight into their lives, travel, logistics, demands on them all the time... and in his case on the year off he had - Le mans, Daytona, Indy, some F1, and Dakar... I found it very cool and have a lot of respect for what he is doing trying other disciplines, and even though it's a controlled piece he came through as a good guy despite the rumors he's hard to have in a team... Watch it and see for yourself, it's mostly in spanish (20% english) with subtitles but it's good. |

I watched it a few weeks ago. It is interesting and a view of part of his personal life.

The track was plenty greasy in the dry, if it rains it will be ferocious.

Certainly interesting. And no Mercedes on the pole for the first time all year. I liked the one comment in that the pink flag was thrown. 5 seconds ahead of Mercedes. Wow.

My DVR did not make it to Q3 despite having a 30min pad added to the recording time.

We add 2 hours to all F1 events. So many run long from weather. You did not ever see Q1 much less the rest. It was nearly an hour of red flag during Q1.

Good for Stroll. those were some tricky conditions. The haters can say all they want about luck or Daddy’s money whatever. He beat his teammate fair and square plus all the others. Why did they wait till 10 days prior to repave the circuit? |

Its a great drive for Stroll and what was almost as good was how upset Max was. I just hope the start is clean, dry would be nice too. Lance needed this "shot in the arm" been a tough go the past few races, Sergio's really held the team in the points race, by himself, this weekend could be big for Racing Point.
The way the grid is lined up, the possibility of weather changes during the race on an already slick track, safety car maybe, track width violations, this is going to be good, I can't wait.

The haters bug me a bit, all I know for sure is that, if my dad was a billionaire I'd have raced something more than Formula Fords too!

Didn't record the whole show. Funny how it takes rain to make F! watchable, yet I watched Sebring to the end.
