@Byron - those appear to be 1911 pistols in the "Warning" bottom picture - semi-auto, but certainly not automatic. Just sayin'

In the movies....just saying....the wankers with the full autos always get taken out by the guys with the semi autos.....kind alike like the guys on Star Trek.....the red shirt syndrome.

Sorry, but you're pretty incorrect with that argument.

An 1911 is an automatic.. no debate, they have always been called automatics since the beginning of time.
Hence the caliber names .45 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol) or 45 AUTO.

Automatic pistols predate semi or full auto rifles.
The only automatics before that were the likes of a Maxim which , well, it's a bit of a heavy thing, it's not personal weapon..

So to conclude : A Semi Automatic, is still an automatic, it self loads, automatically.
No human intervention is required to chamber the next round.

That has nothing to do with the trigger mechanism or the ability to fire more then 1 round with a single trigger pull. that would be called "full-auto" Auto load & Auto fire next round.

Both Semi and Full are automatic
a Semi cannot do full auto
a Full can usually also do semi , called "select fire"

How about just posting pictures?
If you don't like Byron.. that's fine.. You don't have to.
But don't annoy everybody else with your personal dislike..

I seriously doubt Byron did anything to you other then perhaps have a different opinion about something.. Which, well, that's life.. people can disagree. There's no reason to pollute this thread over it.

Yup, we consume a lot of booze in the Houston area. I bet they took the banners off these cars after taking the publicity photos. A car like that would be broken into and emptied long before it got to its destination.
