A third port between the dual exhaust, why?

The three pipes are actually functional, not bling.

There was a $10-15k premium on them when they first came out here in So Cal. Don't care for the style at all, Honda still makes the Civic Si that looks better IMO.

Work with a gal who's 22 y.o. son named Esai drives a regular Civic. He wanted the "Si" to match his name but he didn't know how to drive a stick.

I'm leaning more and more in that direction. I'll be looking at used ones because I heard they discontinued the hatchback si starting this year.
Gotta have the hatch.

You couldn’t get a hatchback Si, it was coupe or sedan only. You can get a turbo hatchback Civic and tune it for more power but you don’t get the LSD and adaptive suspension from the Si.

Yeah, I read it wrong in the Aug C&D mag..'Weeder Car'...my bad.
They said one of the lows for the 2020 was 'no hatchback version'

I took that to mean that there was a hatchback in prior years...oh well.

My son bought a used 2016 Golf R after driving an STI and Focus RS. He wouldn't even go look at the Honda. He was 26 at the time and couldn't get past the styling both inside and out.

you could get a different Civic model and then add aftermarket parts to get what you want...

^^^ That..or just get another Fit. Mine will be at 230K miles soon....but it's just what I want in a car. Fun to drive and 40 mpg. A few more hp would be nice...but there goes the mpg.

Focus ST and Fiesta ST can be had Really cheap slightly used. I've been daily driving a basic focus st for a few years with 0 problems. Ford heavily discounted them when they discontinued "cars". Mine was 19k brand spanking new (26.5msprp), and I think with a bit of digging you could get a low miles mint one for 13k.

Fiesta ST is one of THE most fun cars to drive imho, but quite small. Prob find one really cheap.

I'm not sure if a bike would fit in either of them. In my Fit...I can roll it in standing upright. Not against loading it on it's side..but most make that difficult because of the length.
Not the most imp req...but one I would like.

I test drove a Si last year and it was a hoot to drive, but in the end it was a little small for my taste.

It's practically an M4 . . . without some of the extra features.

Even mine, with a single turbo, is a hefty car. Brilliant. But hefty. Muscle weighs, eh?

The Cayman feels big to me for a sportscar. My 300 bhp sportscar weights 1540 pounds but it doesn't have a roof or a windshield or opening doors or a heater orca radio but it does have a capacious trunk.,and it's only 12 feet long.
