Glad you are going to be OK. Forum wouldn't be the same without you. (Fred Sanford of the Porsche world....). I hope you heal fast, buddy.

Jeez Bryan. I am really glad you are ok with no life threatening injuries. Broken ribs are a btich. Can't cough, laugh, or turn a certain way in bed but it will be much better in a few more days. Hey man, speedy recovery dude. Deal with the damn car later. Get well first.

I was actually gonna guess on US17 ... another guess, did the other vehicle blow right through a red light? We used to fish in Drs Lake quite a bit years ago ....

Just sobering... be safe guys.

Holy impact Batman !

Glad you are ok ! If you had to get hit, at least it was on the Brey-Krause. A bit farther forward could have been very bad for you.

Track safety gear - it's not just for the track!

Glad you are ok, Byron!

So - what will replace the 968? (Or is it too soon to ask??)

Mend well and quickly...
-Z
Well, I still have a few other cars. Depending upon insurance outcome, may just resurrect my trusty old track 944 that I parked when I had health issues in , I think, 2007.

She would love the running gear and suspension from the 968.

Glad to hear you're doing well!

You hate to loose a good car but it's almost always better to be in a Porsche when the big hits happen. Looks the car gave its life for yours!

Holy moly, just saw this... glad you’re still with us after that! It looks like the other person hit you just behind the driver’s seat - B-K or not I’d hate to think what might’ve happened if they’d been going a tiny bit faster or you’d been going a tiny bit slower!

Heal up and here’s hoping you’re up and at ‘em again soon. Broken ribs are no fun at all (ask me how I know!) but it could’ve been far worse as you know.

Shame about the car - I’ve always loved the 968s and would love to get my hands on one someday... It gave its life to protect you.

Best of luck!

You could roll all those into a new 718 GT4 - that would suit you just fine...

I had been thinking a Cayman might be nice. They had me get up and walk around the ER, the getting up and down is the hardest part 😩
And getting them to pull the curtains
