Glad you are OK. No one has mentioned this so I will. Don't sign anything related to the accident, don't let someone record a statement and don't let people discuss the accident in front of you. Now that it looks like you are on the mend get an attorney to handle ...

Thanks everyone, yes, Cayman has been on my lap since I got home. I did get a response from Brey-Krause, of course saying they are glad that I am ok, and appreciate the pictures. When I feel up to it, I'll get more for them so they can how it held up and what they can do to improve it.

Good to see you on the mend and at home. I haven't read through the entire thread, but did the 968 have side airbags so your head was protected? If not, have they given you a scan to make sure there was no damage to the old cranial computer?

Did you see the other car coming? I've often wondered if I'd have the presence of mind to throw my left arm up in a case like that... or if that would make things worse (my 528 has side airbags).

Hey, you're home in time to veg out on the Rolex 24!

Sadly, I don't remember, no side airbags and yes, was scanned. Funny, everyone who read the report was surprised when they saw me and that I and relatively visually damage free. The main thing visually noticeable is the seat belt bruises which are nothing compared to others i have seen, with much lighter hits the scrape on my knee from the console and a fre scratches on my left arm. Even my friend's daughter who works there, after reading the reports couldn't believe that I wasn't beaten up more.

My Mother's friend who went with her to clean out my car said it was a good thing I talked to her before she saw the car.
The guy that did the ultrasound sound on my ribs said that I have heavy muscle continent and that is why I am not worse, and when I showed him the pictures of the 968 and was really shocked that i wasn't hurt worse. He read me the results of all . Besides the high blood pressure while there, and still much higher than normal, they found a swollen lymph node they want my regular doctor to check out. I regularly check my blood pressure and it is generally pretty good.

Thanks for the link, I'd forgotten about the Rolex.
Thanks again for all the kind words and well wishes.

Was the driver's side window up or down?

Did you see it coming?

What are these “pants” of which you speak?

Love the cat pic... they’re so great at reminding us that we’re loved... or at least that our can-opening abilities are.

Hang in there!
