2021 to 2020" Hold My Beer"

Well, once again, the hits keep coming. My on again off again (actually permanently off) girlfriend since then 80s just informed me that her son Zach is dead. I was there when he was a toddler, I taught him how to ride a bike, something that he loved though out his short life. When he was screwing up in high-school, his mother would call me to come talk to him, since other than his Grandfather, I was this only consistent Father figure and he would listen to me.

Don't be afraid to talk to someone if you feel the need.

You are a good Dude, Byron. I have no higher accolade. That said, pay attention to your moods.

Thanks, thanks to the ribs and back, I'm still relying on others to get around, this is definitely a kick in the teeth, between Nick just passing so quickly, and Patty's phone call. Normally, I'd either climb in the Porsche and go for a long drive or hop on a bicycle or tinker with something in the shop, but none of those are options at the moment

Damn Byron I am sorry to hear this. It is one of those tragedies that there is no answer for and must be borne and survived. I have no words that could possibly comfort you or his Mom but if listening would help I'm all ears.

My condolences to you and his mom, Byron. It seems like the universe thinks it's screw with Byron time lately.

Hang in there, sir!

Byron...just hang in there. And support the mom...a parent who loses a child is going through a special kind of grief... In a sense, you are as well.

As Paul said, pay attention to your moods. Be strong...

Sorry man, you’ve had a rough go. Keep your head up, you’re a good dude and I strongly suspect a very good friend. To say that life isn’t fair is an understatement.

Sorry to hear of Zach's passing, Byron.
Truly sucks to hear of someone so young passing way before their time.

Hang in there, mister.

So sorry for your loss Byron. As a father of 3 sons, I just cant imagine how hard it must be for you and his mother. Take care of yourself and and offer all the love and support you can to his mother.

Thanks, a very rough day for Patty and because of my injuries and recovering, I can't go be with her
As it is, I kinda overdid it today. She is hurting so much and right now there's nothing that I can do
The last picture we have of Zach is so sad and hurts to see it.

Byron, sorry to hear this. I understand your inability to do anything given your injuries, I’m recovering from knee reconstruction surgery 3 weeks ago and the lack of mobility sucks.

I send my condolences to you and Patti, you don’t deserve the bends 2021 has tossed your way.
