Sadly there are getting to be less and less people who understand that. It's almost as if no one younger than 30 has ever been taught how the government is funded.

I sometimes wonder if our country has the balls for a 1776 revolution in the current context of society. Based on the results of the last 1.5 years my answer to that question is hell no.

As a whole no, but, I think if we researched and looked back the society that existed in 1776 as a whole didn't either. But enough did have the balls. Most people are followers and in todays society most are fat and lazy especially those we call poor.
