Gotta say, if they don't get better writing and direction, I don't know if I'll watch the next season.
Ditch the humor, go back to the early novels' tone, PICK ONE OF THE BETTER ONES FOR THE SEASON and hire better supporting actors. Make a long movie, broken up into parts, not a stinking weekly TV show. |

100%. I thought it was dumb writing. Way Over suspension of disbelief and not as enjoyable. At least Bosch is back… and for army stuff Lioness is far superior. Ditto dark winds for acting !

Dark Winds is great. Kind of like an Indian version of Longmire with cool cars from the 70s.

Season 1 was really good. They should've ended the show after that

We watched it, and enjoyed it. It is tiring to see the same plot of the one rich man in a small town, that is the very essence of evil. Same plot over and over. Not just in the Reacher TV shows, but in so many movies and TV shows. Hollweird sure needs some new plots.

Lee Child wrote some great Reacher books. Can't-put-it-down great.
Plenty of good plot lines, if the idiots making the TV shows would just choose one and not ruin it. |

it was fine. entertaining enough.
the DEA lady was hot. she worked for me. unlike some of you lady killers. it was entertaining. the ending was...lets just say, they were one tick from making him ride into the sunset thru a rainbow. its the last one? no season 4?

thanks!!
and I like Nealey. she is supposedly rich, right? I've read books, but none seem to have her in it. I'd take a spin off about her.

She's in the books, once in a while, but her presence in the TV series is overblown. Lot's of things are different on TV. Reacher doesn't kill nearly as many people in the books. The secondary characters aren't as fleshed out. If you weren't familiar with the books, as I am, call Reacher by another name in the TV and you wouldn't recognize where the show came from. |

You'd like the books, at least most of the early ones.
I like the Mitch Rapp books better than what showed up on the screen. Movies are seldom half as good as the books because Hollywood has to dumb them down, add more shooting, etc. If I wanted to watch a video game ( I don't), I'd play a video game (I don't.) |

Thankfully this season is over. The show turned into comic book. The writing was terrible. The new Bosch although very 70's is more believable.

Popular show for Prime.... I agree has become far-fetched.... climactic fight = silliness

I finished this season tonight, it was ok.
Having read all of the books I think I am biased. The majority of the audience I am betting has not read the books. I also read the Mitch Rapp ones but it has been a while. I will watch the next season. |
