could what has been kept from the public to this point meet your criteria of "proof"?

what is your definition of "extraordinary evidence"?
idk, pure speculation, and off the top of my head:

materials science we otherwise dont have
fundamental physics understanding we dont have
non carbon based, or some other fundamental life chemistry

like we dont know how its possible for life to travel interstellar, so the biggest bits of evidence of ET life would be in answering how its possible to have happened.

Many here weren't around during the early 50's...but it was all explained to us at the Saturday cinema.

Back to Project Blue Book, I looked forward to it every week, even though many times they found a legitimate explanation, but some episodes they clearly couldn't explain.
What is crazy is it appears that some places it was called Project UFO, but, like you, and others, I remember Blue Book.

OK, glad to know that I'm not the only one that remembers it that way.

On a vaguely, tangentially related note...
The statement above triggers thoughts of the 2 movies below. Kind of more cerebral alien contact movies that involve us figuring out what the heck they are trying to tell us via math.

Contact - great movie
Arrival - Also great movie

It's been MANY years, I need to find a copy of Close Encounters of the Third Kind to watch. As a kid, I loved it. No idea how it'll hold up, but really imprinted on me as a kid.

Devil's Tower and the mashed potato version of Devil's Tower!

Rewatched it a couple years ago, make sure you have a BIG stereo for the finale, it still slaps.

Lots of meat on this bone..

This is the continuation of the tale told by Corso in "The Day After Roswell."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Day_After_Roswell

The articles are more about bureaucratic "deep state" secrecy, operations and malfeasance than about the actual "alien materials."

The attitude seems to be what benefit can be derived from the windfall of acquiring extraterrestrial technology than in assessing our risk, where do these being originate from and learning about the beings themselves...

Ronald Reagan during his tenure in the WH at the beginning of a press conference said, "What would all our geopolitical squabbles mean if I were to tell you that we are at war with... (as he pointed a finger upwards)."

Then again the Machiavellian might think what does the recent AF Ad at the front of the recent Top Gun movie mean, that stated other nations might rule the ground or the seas but the USAF owns the sky... coupled with the recent DOD revelations about UAP's. Are these subtle geopolitical hints that the US has some things tucked away in the closet? The USA has had the where with all (money, talent and scope) to utilize other technologies that other nations didn't posse for decades...

It doesn't do me any good to advertise who I am anymore..

The Boeing Bird of Prey was a trailblazing stealth aircraft secretly developed by the US military between 1992 to 1999 at Area 51. Its extraterrestrial appearance would no doubt be responsible for UFO sightings occurring at the time.

"Non human, exotic origin, from not earth"

I'm not sure how else to compute that.

^^^^30 years ago my college room mate described having seen several 10’ tall creatures passing through his back yard as a kid in the 80s in Cincinnati. We were high on mushrooms and figured he was just messing with us. Strange days indeed, most peculiar mama

I just sent him a link to this video for comment

With practically every living human carrying a communication device that can record and broadcast live pics and video with sound, I conclude that if THEY are here, THEY are invisible.

I refuse to believe until I see it on Youtube!
