Yes the radio does work, it picks up AM stations but is not very loud. A friend of mine said to spray some contact cleaner on the electrical components and that may help it out. It has a hole in the top of the fender/cowl area and I have seen pictures of one of these radios having an antenna that would go there but I don't see where an antenna would attach to anything in the radio part.
