I smoke.

I throw ciggys out my window.

......but, I make sure they are out when I do it and I will not throw a ciggy out the window if there is a car in my rear-view mirror.

I litter............, but I'm responsible about it!!

Uh...guys...He's on a MOTORCYCLE.

No window in the scenario with the nuts. The nuts come into play when the lit butt lands in his crotch!

Lets just say I was quite pissed and grabbed that butt and snuffed it asap.

When I caught up to that car at the next red light I pulled right up to that ****ers window, got his attention and chucked that thing at his face.

I only wish that his window was down when this happened.

I don't know, but you might get a stiff fine. You could always plead financial hardship though. Maybe we should just sack this whole argument...

Just curious. What's a loogie? I don't have a dictionary within reach and I don't know the meaning of the word.

A "loogie" is that nice thick green stuff you cough up in the morning.

I used to smoke in the car, but i got fed up of having to change cars when the ashtray got full.

Actually, I still do smoke in the car. Once a day (first on on the way to work), and yes it getes tossed out of the window. It's only 'cause i removed my ashtray to put a A/F meter there! sort of a performance over function thing.....

Yes, I'm a smoker,

AND with malice aforethought, throw butts out the window...

I do try to make sure that any car behind me is a safe distance before I toss it though.

Florida does not allow smoking in eating establishments, fine, I have no problems with that.

I don't smoke in my house, as I have a wife and 2 kids that do not smoke.

I don't smoke in the car when my kids are in it with me.

So, if I'm in a place that I can legally smoke, I'm smoking.

Deal with it.

You don't like it, move.

Smokers.... Maybe we should all take up crack instead, that way, we would be victims, instead of placed in the same social level as lepers.

As far as swimming with cigarette butts in the ocean.... Figure out a way to deal with the tons of garbage, raw sewage, and medical waste that is washing up on our shores. Once you get that knocked out, then talk to me about cigarette butts in the ocean.

or to make a long story short...

"I don't tell you how to live your life, don't tell me how to live mine...If you don't like the smoke, move or get thicker skin.

**puff**

Anybody know how long a cigarette filter lasts? I'm genuinely curious. I used to live on a state highway and there were literally hundreds of butts that would accumulate along the shoulder and in my lawn! They never seemed to go away, just kept accumulating. I confess to throwing the occasional cigar butt out the window (where there's no possibility of igniting something or hitting somebody!), but that's no more than thowing out a rolled up leaf that will quickly turn to compost.
