Lightbulb Club Seeking members - Christian based

Well, I finally got up the courage to start 'advertising' the club I've started. It's name is CISCO which Stands for Christ Inspired Sports Car Owners. If you or someone you know is interested, here's the website:

http://reactornet.net/cisco2/

If this doesn't interest you, fine. If it does interest you, great. If you have questions, I'll try to answer them.

Ok, Victor, I give. What's the grounds for the lawsuit?

Hmmm, yes, good point. My stance on lawsuits like that has always been pretty simple. Cisco isn't liable to make a nuisance of themselves until David has developed a forum that's self-sustaining and is producing enough money to pay a decent legal team. As long as they stay below the radar, Cisco isn't liable to give a rat's petut.

Realistically, a lawsuit like that should* be dubbed as "frivolous." There's no realistic possibility that anyone's going to go to buy Cisco gear and find themselves buying network gear from David instead. I mean, if whitehouse.com can exist without hassle from the good folks at whitehouse.gov, then David ought to be reasonably safe.

I am not really a lawyer, I just impersonate one at work sometimes.

Dan

*should: ought to, but not necessarily will.

Lawsuit isn't even a possibility. Especially if you are non-profit.

I'm not a lawyer, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express once.

Good luck with your club. I'm not religious myself, but any positive reason to get folks together for the good of our hobby is great.

"Christ Inspired Sports Car Owners"

Yeah, I seem to remember a few bible passage when jesus said, "Screw the poor, I need my Bilsteins re-valved" and, "Can someone hold my Rolex while I put on this chain tensioner?".

It doesn't mater what you have, but what you give and do.

Now, go easy, there, Hard Drive. Seems like there's strong biblical support for racing. I mean, James writes that we should "redeem the time, for the days are evil." That's only slightly different than what any good autocross instructor will tell you: "Get out there and redeem those last couple of seconds, 'coz those cones are evil!" Same thing, right?

And heck, Paul talks about racing all the time. You know, run the good race, and all that rot? Let me see here ... Acts 20:24, 1 Corinthians 9:24, Galatians 2:2 and 5:7, 2 Timothy 4:7, Hebrew 12:1 ... yeah, Paul was serious about racing.

And about those poor? Jesus said, "The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me." (Matthew 26:11, taken _badly_ out of context) So don't stress about the poor, get those new Bilsteins.

Wow and I thought white males were the last group you could freely discriminate against. I bet if he was fronting for a car club for African Americans, ya'll wouldn't be saying what you are saying here.

Wow, yes, this is certainly discriminatory -- all of this talk of violence toward Christians... why, it's tantamount to a high tech lynching!

Get a grip.

Equating some snide comments on the internet with the 400 years of brutal racism African Americans endured.

Astounding.
