Canada was not involved in Iraq yet they recently busted a islamic terror cell there. There are islamic terror cells ('home grown or whatever) worldwide but so far, they have not been able to acquire weapons to wipe out hundreds or thousands of people. You cannot prove that if the war in Iraq hadn't happened, that these other terror cells would not have been receiving substantial assistance from al-Qaeda in Iraq or in that area. It's logical to believe that if Saddam was still in business he would have been actively promoting/supporting terror in other countries, including your own.

that is not what i'm argueing

what i'm argueing is that Mulls current excuse for the war in Iraq is completely debunked by these arrests, these arrests proove that the bad guys are not at all centralized in Iraq.
and instead of spending billions in Iraq supposedly to protect the homefront(yeah right) the FBI does it for real, with only a fraction of the budget

Ahhh, the good old days. When this country was more selective to who was coming in. Ensuring they weren't carrying diseases. When immigrants wanted to come in to be Americans and learn English, and want to work hard rather than get on a welfare program. There are still those kind of immigrants, but unfortunately the doors have been thrown open to many who don't share those values. Let me know if the immigration policies of today - in the land of the ACLU - are the same as when the Statue of Liberty of built.
