What the hell is going on here? Have you all abandoned the Mulholland thread?
Does it end with Aspirin, work and a call after lunch? The last page with Screaming Chicken decals on Jacks car. (Oh my) I will not have any of this. This is unacceptable. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1200554704.jpg |
Taken this morning. Mulholland is in the distance, upper right. OK, obscured by fog...

Anyone up for a Mulholland scavenger-hunt-through-the-poison-oak now that Dave's on the mend? |
I went up there last night around 1:30am.
What a blast! Nobody in sight. I've been drivin' instead of just talkin'. Woohoo!!! |

Recon duty
Quote:
I'm up for completing the recon of the Racecourse and it's lower canyon area. My map of the artifacts and their location is near complete. I can post it when it's done, it's really quite interesting. Just to you guys know, because of the recent rain, the area over the hill will be very wet and muddy until it dries some more. However I'll go if there is interest, ask Jeff about my statement of "if the deer can make it, we can too", I'm still laughing. :D |
I'm up for a recon mission. I've got a friend who is into "GeoCaching" I've been trying to get her interested in comming along to document where some of the more interesting artifacts are located.

Let's roll!

When is a good time Kevin, I still have your book on modified Corvairs to give back to you. Jeff, Dave, you want to go? What is GeoCaching? |
This weekend is fine. I've gotten the shop almost back to normal so I can take weekends off again so any time is cool.
GeoCaching is kinda like GPS guided treasure hunting. Geocachers hide little bits of treasure in randon/general/public places then post the GPS coordinates on a web site. Then other Geocachers try to find the treasures. It's very TECHY/NURDY but fun. http://www.geocaching.com/ |

On anothe note we have another wrecked Prancing Horse in the news. Son borrows Dads car with only 9 miles on it. Whacks pole at 190. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1200621580.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1200621607.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1200621631.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1200621651.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1200621676.jpg Kid walks away (talking to Patrolman in background) |
