The Grid

.....and understeering hard into turn number one on the inside is Judy !! Oh oh, looks like she's getting rear ended by Dave B. (and appears pretty pleased to be doing so) On the outside is Huck Fynn (really). LOOK OUT, Adolfo's getting crossed up and the rest of the field is stacking up behind. It's getting pretty wild further back as we see Daryl on the inside and (I think) one of those Graham brothers being chased hard by C. Cuttler. J. Norris meanwhile is apparently happy to be blocking L. Colucci (can't tell who's next-Christi?) then the elder Graham bringing up the rear with Cortez and Marquardt along side. These inverted starts can get mighty hairy.

INTERESTING. THAT CRASH SITE LOOKS VERY MUCH THE SAME AS THE
ONE FROM LAST YEAR. IS IT?

I Don't Think The Guy On The 'outside' Pole Would Want Anyone To Know Who He Is Or Where He Works Right Now. Lol

If no one minds after all these years how about un-masking the usual suspects in the photo. I know a few and the other's remain unknown. Can we put the name's with the faces? The cops are not coming anymore!

I DON'T THINK THAT THE GUY ON THE OUTSIDE POLE WOULD REALLY LIKE HIS NAME REVEALED NOR WHAT HE DOES FOR A LIVING NOW DAYS. THE GUY ON THE OUTSIDE BACK ROW IS WORKING ON SOME SORT OF FERRARI DISNEYLAND IN DUBAI.

NOTICED JIM HALL (NOT PICTURED AND THE NON-WING VERSION OF J.H.) THE OTHER DAY ON TV BEING INTERVIEWED A THE CHICAGO AUTO SHOW. NICE TO SEE THAT HE IS STILL PLAYING WITH CARS.

SSB 01-19-2008 04:06 PM

are we talking Jim Hall or Jim Hall? Chaperal Or Boy from U.N.C.L.E.

Mulholland Dr. day hike guide...

If anyone else decides to take the plunge and are not really familiar with the terrain, there are some things to know and carry.

Cell phone - make sure its charged. Plenty of coverage up there and it's possible to take a tumble and need to call for help.

Water - In the car and on you if at all possible. There are no Starbucks or 7-11s down there!

Sun block and a hat - The sun beats down on that area after noon.

Camera - You never know what you may see/find.

Hiking boots/long pants/long sleeves - The hill is crawling with Poison Oak.
This is what it looks like right now. Google it and learn!
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1200795514.jpg
If you have never had Poison Oak and come in contact, you may end up with a mild case and located in only on place. Once you get Poison Oak, it becomes worse with each subsequent encounter. You really don't want to end up looking like this:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1200795682.jpg
Take a shower and wash really well, as soon as possible!

Remember to lock your car! ()

Don't go in the spring/summer/fall - Plenty of Rattle snakes, fleas, ticks, black widows...

Please don't litter, there's enough trash already down there . :(

Most of all, have fun and be safe! SmileWavy

Mulholland Recon

Had a great time today with you guys hiking the brush below Mulholland.
We found Motorcycles, safes, a gun, lots of Porsche parts, cars, lots of bottles, old beer cans, tires, tvs, big oak trees, and lots more. I need to go back once more to complete the map of where everything is.

Here we are at the beginning of our trek.
