[QUOTE=old man neri;3658542]Currently drinking: Gin and tonic

Favorite drinks: Rye and ginger, Caesar. Both these drinks are sadly not too common in the US. If you get the chance I strongly urge you to try one.

have been wanting to try rye for years. it's rye whiskey, right? if so, it's what the old cowboys were mostly shootin' in wells back in the 1800's..

Mmmm, St. Augustine. Now I would love to be back there. I'm from Tampa so St. Petersburg is known to me.

Nah, my time was spent in St. Augustine, Daytona, Destin, the Keys, and the gulf side north and south of St. Pete.

I honestly don't know the difference between rye and whiskey. Not even sure if there is one. Maybe google has the answers.

Here is Wiki's explanation.

Here is Wiki's explanation.
There is Rye whisky, Bourbon whisky, Scotch whisky, blends of the above. It
is like wine with all the different flavors, aging casks and regions produced. Much easier to drink it than to try to remember all the subtleties.
Currently I am having a Screwdriver.

I'm in Orange Park, but I do get around Fernandina is still a nice place, St. Aug will stay small in the city ( my attorney is the former city attorney) and for some reason, almost everyplace there I go ask me if I want my regular I'll be in St. Aug for New Years Eve
About to head to the local pub for a shot of Jager & a Capt. & Coke, at least one of each.

Well it is Friday night, the best night to do some drinking. I am full heartedly against the consumption of Natty light. Since I am a college student, natty should be my drink of choice. Problem is I just can't stand the crap. Well some people are bringing a natty keg over tonight.

Just sit around the Chimenea and smoke a nice Padron!
