Does anyone here ever open your beer can and then pop a little hole on the other side of the top? No glug-glug.

Not on the bottom while opening it into your mouth!

beerhunter game.

The rules are so easy, a drunk person could understand. All you need for this game is a sixpack, a box, and people to play it with you.

Take one can. Shake it. Now I don't mean just shake it, I mean SHAKE the sucker! Till it's about to blow up. Then put it in the box with the others and mix them around (one person not looking) and then switch them around again (the other person not looking) Basically, nobody knows where it is.

Now, one person picks a can, holds it to his/her head at an angle, and opens it. If it's not the one, s/he has to drink it. If it is the one, s/he gets a wet head and you can start all over or whatever. Then, if it wasn't the one, the next player takes one and tries. etc.

Actually my brother, an ex-F4 Phantom pilot, turned me on to Jeremiah Weed. It is a very aquired taste and WILL get you mellow very quickly. A quick link...http://www.takimag.com/site/article/just_war_jeremiah_and_jeremiah_weed

I start with this beer and finish with that spirits. Alot of limes and some sea salt for both as well.

After a successful day, stripping a Corvair, I thought a beer was in order.

I had some absinthe for the first time last night. Apparently it has been legal since March. Who knew?

I bought a bottle at the local liquor store. I poked a hole in the bottom of a plastic cup with an ice pick. Then I filled a glass with two ounce of absinthe and poured two ounces of ice water into the plastic cup and held it above the glass, letting it slowly drain.

I can see why people like the stuff. To me, it tastes strongly of licorice. Kind of like a watered-down Jagermeister. Like General Tso's Chicken, the flavor creeps up on you over time. Even cut with water, it is medium-bodied. After one glass, my mouth was coated and my taste-buds numb.

Time for a second glass...

I've seen the Absinthe locally here as well but assumed it was a novelty knock off. Are you sure it's the real wormwood deal?

Found this on wiki

A faux-absinthe liquor called Absente, made with southern wormwood (Artemisia abrotanum) instead of grande wormwood (Artemisia absinthium), is sold legally in the United States and does not contain Grande Wormwood. This was the first US approval referring to "absinthe" on the front label; the front label says "Absinthe Refined" but the US Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) classified the product as Liqueur.

In 2007 the first legally available absinthe has been approved for sale in the United States. These brands must pass TTB testing, which is performed by the Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry method[65] and TTB considers a product to be thujone-free if the FDA's test measures less than 10ppm thujone.[66]

Appleton Estate Extra 12 year old - neat. Makes me wonder what the Masters Legacy would be like... Seemed only right, we watched Pirates of the Caribbean earlier. Now I am sitting down to research Pacific Seacraft sailboats...the old circumnavigation dream will never let go....
