Alan Keyes for President, but he is BLACK

Alan Keyes is running for president. I have one big problem with that, he is BLACK as the ace of spades, not just brown like Osama bin laden or whatever his name is.

After listening to him for 20 minutes on Hannity and Colmes I would vote for him, hands down, in spite of his blackness. He is the ONLY true AMERICAN running for office, period.

Osama could NEVER win, for one reason, he is black. Keyes, even though he is pitch black, could win. Why? Because he is the ONLY american running for office and he is dead on on all his polices. His positions are so overwhelmingly American that even the most radical, racists, can overlook his skin. Thats a real feat.

Anyone wanting a true color free America, wants and knows American values, will be very impressed with this candidate. I am truly stoked by his presence in this race. I hope to know more about him in the near future. If he keeps up what he is saying now, he really has a chance of winning.

Think about a real black, conservative, president. The Liberals (and anyone that can't pay cash for their Porsche) true nightmare!

This guy is so darn good that the fact that he is black, Edited - Z-man.. There are some people who will NEVER vote for a black guy, period, that simple (not my personal opinion, just a FACT) But this guy is so darn good I can see even some of these people, the ones that would NEVER vote black, closing their eyes and voting for him. He is the ONLY true AMERICAN running for president, that simple! Only after listening to him did I change my opinion about "any" black winning, He is NOT ANY black, he is an AMERICAN!!!!! NONE of the other candidates are.

In this election environment, no vote is wasted. If there is NO good choice, even the least of the evil ones, vote your best candidate, that seems to be Keyes at this point. BUT he is really BLACK!!

I predict that only true liberals will vote against him. Edited -Z-man. As an open minded conservative, I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

Yes I will expand on that one. He is a true American because he relies on the ORIGINAL intent of the constitution. He does not like progressive interpretations of what our founders meant, just what they actually said.

I too have liked Keyes. Some of his conservative views are a little too conservative for me, but his largest debilitation - his skin color - is something he truly puts behind himself, as he did when he ran in (I think) 2K.

In fact, I like Keyes for every reason that I dislike Obama, because while Keyes sounds genuine, while Obama has a sense of, to me, folly to his campaign, as if it is one big party being thrown by Oprah.

I have to disagree that comparing/contrasting Keyes to Obama is useful. I'd rather at least contrast Keyes to Ron Paul, who in my view is a basket case along the lines of Lieberman.

Keyes seems real, serious, and committed. But he'll never get elected. If at all, in this blatantly racist country, he's about three or four elections ahead of his time.

I very much doubt that racism is the thing that will keep Keyes from being elected. It would be his views. The guy is a loon. He is too black for the family values crowd and know no middle ground politically. As far as I can tell he all he spouts is pure hate rhetoric. If you like him, you may also like Lindon Larouche.
