Modified fast...

Not fun. Makes me grumpy, but it works.

Fasting...So you want short term results only? Guaranteed that your body will immediately regrow to original size, possibly +, the minute you resume eating.

We shall see...

Like I had said, I've been eating 'whatever' for the last 41 years. I few weeks isn't going to hurt me.

Someone told me: 'Make a fist. Thats the size of of your empty stomach'.

Sometimes our meals are just plain enormous!
I need to regulate after I reach my goal.

I just finished a job so I have some down time.
If I pick up another job in the next week or two I'll have to abandon this low calorie exercise.
I don't have a lot of energy...

Great job! I am up two pounds.... but will be setting new goal at the start of the year.

Take your time, but keep at it. Weight is but one measure of health. If you are feeling more energetic and have better endurance you're winning.

Me? My only health tip is that excess alcohol consumption can be slimming: if you don't have chips with the beer and keep drinking 'till you puke! :D

I was at the track today doing a bunch walking around and taking a lot of pictures. Really felt good.

Someone gave me a size large t-shirt...It fits!

Anybody care to join me?

I'm going to lose 40-50#'s by Aug 6th before I turn 40.

I'm currently 232 and I'm 5'9".

I'd like to weigh 185.

It's no secret how to lose weight safely.
Moderate exercise, less fat and carbs, no late night snacking and reduce alcohol intake.

I have a treadmill and an exercise bike. I need to work on those for 30 minutes each day and 5-7#'s lost each month will be a snap.

I'll update weekly.

Feel free to jump on board and post your progess if you wish.

Time to go bed...again...:)

If you're truly on a fasting diet then your body thinks it's starving to death so it's slowed your metabolism to minimum. Once you resume your normal eating habits it will immediately convert the calories to fat for emergency storage. If you haven't already, start an exercise routine now, and start eating low calorie/fat foods to gain energy.

trekkor 11-07-2009 08:01 AM

202 this morning.

I saw 193.5 yesterday morning!

I'm in the home stretch.
I hope to reach my goal of 185 in the next two weeks.

Wow, I feel so much better.
