Am I evil? Why yes, yes I am!

A month ago we had some new neighbors move in. I'm always skeptical of the people the landlords move in...as they like to rent to wierdos.

So...the people they move in are friends of one of thier daughters. Well, we had problems with another daughter a couple years ago..drugs...violence..all sorts of crap from thier apartment...people in an out at all hours.

Turns out, this other daughter's friend are not much better.

"Oh, don't worry," she said "They're real quiet people"

Well, I claim bull on that one. Loudest ******* neighbors I've ever had. Every ten minutes or so, something going bang, crash, thump, whomp over there. And the thumpin' bass stereo is obnoxious as hell. They've kept me awake for the most part of last month, thumping, crashing, banging. I asked one of them if they were wrestling with rhino's over there...

And the gangbangers hanging out in the driveway, and the dozens of people coming and going..and that NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM knows how to part a car without blocking the driveway completely.

Well, I figured out what I need to do yesterday. As one of them was coming out, stoned out of his gourd, he looked up and said "man, it's raining. That's ok, I'm only 22. my gramma will give me a ride"

"I'm only 22..." and I knew immediately.
Bumblebee ringtone. Thru 100 watts. LOUD. All night long, baby.
We checked both my wife and I yesterday to see what we could and could not hear. I think she can hear the 17Khz tones, but no higher.
At 22 years old, this idiot should be able to hear 18Khz.

The only problem? We have cats. So I can't do it.

At least I enjoyed running the vacuum last night at 11pm.

I'm glad I live in a house in a quiet neighborhood.

Maybe this will help, Wolfe. Cats have excellent hearing in the high ranges, but you'll be fine with an elephant.

Call the cops a few times, they'll get the hint.

Put a large medieval looking grinding wheel in the front yard.

Then just sit there and grind an axe all day, laughing and muttering to yourself. Bark a few times for effect. Be sure to wave furiously at any and all who come to their appartment.

Take the cat to a kennel and let the fun begin. I think it would be funny.

You win a TABS award...

I once had an upstairs neighbor, that when she walked always went THUMP THUMP THUMP. To get even I turned on the Stereo where all you could hear is a low Bass tone. The whole building buzzed from that one. Needless to say she got mad and complained to me. I said, "But my stereo isn't on very loud."

I had the EXACT SAME problem years ago.

The people owned a crew-cab, 10-foot bed duelie Dodge ram and would park it long-ways across other people's assigned parking spots.

Eventually they dissappeared, (I think they were only in the apartment one month) but all of their stuff was still in the apartment for several more months until the apartment company moved them out.

I think I called the police on them about a dozens times in that month.

that is not evil, I can think of way worse things than that.

Care to guess what happens when you drop a deer's musk gland down someone's chimney? The residents stay in a hotel for a while.

Do you know what happens if you put deer musk down the little vent at the base of a car's windshield? The car gets sold PDQ.

Or if you squirt a little super glue, or put a little JB weld over the key hole to the front door. They leave to go to work in the morning, and can't get back in their house that night. This also works well if they have a locking gas cap on their car. Very inconvenient.

If you push hard at the top of a door with a deadbolt, you can force coins between the door and the jam and make it impossible to open the door from inside.

Did you know that concentrated sulfuric acid will burn holes in alloy wheels?

If you call in an anonymous tip to Adult/Child Protective Services, they go to the house and investigate, every time.

If you pump a small amount of water into a motor vehicle's tire, it cannot be spin balanced unless it is broken down and tire removed from the wheel. This is practically impossible to diagnose and is very unsettling if the car is driven at any speed.

If you dump a bag of cement in a swimming pool or spa, it will sink to the drain, fill it and harden. You can imagine how easy it is to replace plumbing underneath a swimming pool.

You are not such an evil guy

I am 'told' that a 16 oz paper drinking cup of brake fluid 'accidentally' spilled on a ricer will eat a gigantic, ugly, runny hole in the paint....but that could just be a rumor.

Or not.

Wow - check this out!

It actually works. Hehe. I wonder if I can rig up a 30,000-watt car stereo system to blast this like a "cone of silence" to keep punks away from my car all day.

Wow, I don't start hearing it until 12khz.

That's for 50 and younger . . . and I'm younger than 50.

I can't hear 14khz and on up . . .

ditto on the metallica.

the answer to your problems lies in the title of this thread. GREAT tune and should be played loud!

Give 'em some 'So What' as well. that song will freak any non-metallica fan out.

Are they dealing? Call the cops. Lather, rinse, repeat. The house right next to the g/f's house has dealers...think it is meth. They are *always* in the garage (couch and tv in there, door open) all hours of the day and night. Morning even. People sometimes are sleeping in their cars on the street (waiting for them to "open" I guess) and some yahoo sideswipped a bunch of cars a month or two ago. The cops have been making a few visits lately - had them all cuffed in the front yard for an hour or so. Hopefully soon they will go bye-bye. Or I may have to set up some cameras. Sucks.
