			The "urban legend" around Habitat for Humanity is that the only homes left in Homestead, Florida a few years ago were the Habitat homes.   I know from experience in Alabama - they build to a tougher standard than the local code.. | ||

			IIRC, insulated concrete form (ICF) homes handle stuff like this pretty well...I wonder if this house is ICF or similar.

			The owners' previous house was damaged in a storm a few years back.  This replacement was built to withstand a Cat 5.  The exterior "looks" like it survived, but the homeowner interviewed on CNN said the interior was trashed.
