Next Gun Purchase

I didn't want to hijack the other Jeff's thread, so I thought I would start my own. I've already made the purchase; I just get to finally pick it up tomorrow. I have a CCW, so new purchases leave with me immediately, and private or gun show purchases do the same. This one was found used at a dealer, so it had to sit for 30 days to allow our State Patrol to determine if it was stolen or not. Clock runs out tomorrow, so I get to pick it up. These are darn hard to find these days...

Anyway, let's have some fun. I think most of the shooters here know my tastes in guns. Last purchase was a hand gun (Ruger New Vaquero), so this is a long gun. Currently in production by a major manufacturer. Any guesses? Answer and pics tomorrow...

If I had my druthers - and a big pile of money...

I know where there's one for sale - bring your own Class III and $12,000 in cash.

Too pedestrian, and I've already had a couple of those.

Soon, but see above. Craigster already nailed it as a #1 on his first reply.

Couldn't agree more, but I already have a '74 in .45-2.6 and a '75 in .45-70.

Anyway, it is a #1. They come in many flavors...
