this thing is fun and fast, i just replaced the batteries and the twin motors.......also for nightime i added some led's so i could see it

I have had a multitude of cheao RC crap but not much good. About 5 years ago we had some early 90s losi stuff but none of it was much good. I have thought about taking the chasis off that and making some kind of road monster. Other problem out here is the lack of flat ground and not much pavement in the country.

I used to be big into the RC cars but once I started playing with real cars, well...

That said, two years ago I bought a Blade CX2 indoor helicopter and started flying it around. Over time, I've tweaked it to the point where I can only fly it outdoors because it's just too fast for the living room.

Here's an old picture when I first bought it...

I bought my grandson (8 yo) this past summer the best 4x4 truck at Radio Shack they had; he drove it straight into the lake. Hasn't worked well since. Ha!

I've got an R/C park flyer, but the wing is busted at the moment. Haven't had time to mount the new one.

I had several cars during the 80's (we had a club in HS):
Mugen Bulldog II
Team Associated RC-10, an original and a B2(1995)
Team Associated RC12i
Bolink Round Tracker 10
Bolink Eliminator 10 Pan Car

The technology today is amazing, esp the 4wd touring cars with Lipo + Brushless motors. I still wish I had my original RC-10 as they have kept their value.
The only car I kept is the B2.

I've been in and out of R/C for years. My brother is actually a sponsered pro.

But My best friend and I both bought Traxxas Slash trucks. They really are tough, handle just as good as any of my associated or losi stuff from the late 80's early/mid 90's and were cheap! Watch this video. It's like a skate vid but it sold me on the truck and I've had a blast with it!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7hG2nIUegA

Like a bmx or skate vid' but with R/C!!

Associated Nitro TC3's, one belongs to my son, the other is mine. He runs an O.S. .12, and I alternate between an RB Concepts .12 and a hot-rodded O.S. FS26, a four cycle motor. It has a piston/sleeve from an FS30, and a slide type two needle carb from .12 2 cycle motor. Both cars are two speeds, and I have two different ones set up for my car; one for the 2 cycle, one for the thumper. His is the yellow #69, mine is the blue #68.

I've always been into the R/C stuff I used to race 1/5 scale on road. Now I have a Traxxis Revo 3.3 and a Traxxis Slayer. Both are gas trucks and are just for playing around and the back yard.

I also have a E flight MCX and a CP Pro helicopter.

Jeff, Those are some good looking cars.

1/12.

Don't know, bought it used and never did anything with it. Looks like someone assembled it, didn't paint the body, and never ran it. But bits like the rear wing, cockpit interior, etc were missing and still are.

Don't know what they are bringing nowadays, I need to check. It's been sitting in the basement for years.
