Yes, but not sure if it is classified though so I will refrain. You may be able to find related info by searching for new non-lethal technologies.

A black surburban at the front of the string of cars let out this sound that was so loud and perfectly tuned, it folded everyone's knees within a 50-foot radius. The surburban and the one behind it opened up, and a squad of SWAT looking guys hopped out and cleared the path of the cars by lifting and dragging people from in front of the cars. The guys reloaded, and the caravan was gone, doing 40MPH in a sec or two.

I had dropped involuntarily to my knees and was on the rest of the way down except for a Sabretts' wagon. Everyone around me was down on the ground as well. No aftereffects except that whatever was on the sidewalk was now on the knees of my levi's. I had no idea that this was possible, and that it was used when they felt the motorcade was 'trapped'. Of course, the entire show was followed by a string of blue and whites, all whooping as well, but just the usual level, loud, but not painful or debilitating.

Has anyone else even heard this thing?

I saw something on the history channel a while back on that.

I know there is a focused sound projector that makes you feel like your skin is on fire(military uses it), but this was not that, simply folded knees and down you go.

Hmmm, the ultrasonic attacks (which obviously are not audible) make people weak/nauseated. Not quite what you describe.

No, no nausea. Vertigo, folded knees. This from a perfectly sober airline pilot VERY used to vertigo and unusual attitudes. There were 2 other similar types alongside. I would guess 50 or so people on the ground simultaneously. Symptoms stopped instantly with the sound stoppage.

It was pretty impressive. Ahnold should use it in the Kahliforneeah Senate and Assembly until some sort of budget is signed.

Someone mentioned the neutron bomb- fascinating weapons. I'm sure even though there were agreements with the UN to dismantle them, a lot of research in that field has been done to yield even more devastating effects.

Think about it- a relatively non-destructive device with the explosive yield of only a few kilotonnes yet with enough radioactive juice to melt the skin from any living tissue in a 25 mile radius. Takes people from the first signs of radiation sickness to horrible, horrible deaths in only a few minutes.

That's obviously why they were 'banned'.

I'm sure there has been big advancements in small yield tactical nukes too... something that we could actually use and not be shunned upon for doing so. Low fallout, small enough to do a lot of structure damage but leave a radioactive footprint that is easy to clean up.

Secret Rocket Balls Target WMD Bunkers
By David Hambling November 12, 2008 | 11:30:00 AMCategories: Ammo And Munitions, Bizarro, Chem-Bio
The Pentagon has a new secret weapon to neutralize sites containing chemical or biological weapons: rocket balls. These are hollow spheres, made of rubberized rocket fuel; when ignited, they propel themselves around at random at high speed, bouncing off the walls and breaking through doors, turning the entire building into an inferno. The makers call them "kinetic fireball incendiaries." The Pentagon doesn't want to talk about them, but published documents show that the fireballs have undergone tests on underground bunkers.

the messiah has already promised to gut military research and development. have to find the money for that high speed rail line to vegas somewhere.

They also have discovered a bass note that when played, makes everybody crap themselves. I wish I could hit THAT note almost every night! Now we're talkin' some fun!

They don't called them "laserbeams" any longer. The new nomenclature is "directed energy weapons". There is quite a bit of effort going into weapons systems along these lines. I worked on two of these programs.

Where I used to work we had a couple of DARPA programs and one program that no one even knew the name of it - it was just called "the proprietary program".

As for the sonic weapon - they demonstrated that to a guy on NPR one day. He folded like a house of cards...

The Russians have the torpedo. You pretty much described it. A great write on it in Scientific Americian in either 2000 or 2001

I kept the mag or a copy of article stashed somewhere.

Popular Mechanics did an article on a few things like the one you described and its cousins about a year or 3 ago. They described the mechanics of the wave and its possible military and PD uses. All the stuff was supposedly on the drawing boards and some engineered into crude initial testing with a long time-line till possible completion. The point was to disable the enemy or whatever without causing serious damage unless you really wanted to destroy them on purpose. It was to be an option without using bullets etc.

For the past 4-1/2 months in Michigan everyone has been suffering from mind pounding allergies. People who have never taken allergy medicine before (like me) are now taking it every day, and every night. This may be one of the over 20,000 medical experiments which have been conducted on the public without their consent and knowledge since the 1880's.
