I actually love the title of this thread "Darwinism Interrupted", I think if one was standing by at the Polar Bear pen while this was happening you would almost have to shout out: "Hey - leave her be, she wasn't meant to reproduce".

I knew the story before I saw the movie and was thinking that must be an awful way to go. Well, after about 10 minutes of listening to Timmy, say "oh, he's a big bear, a big, big bear" (read in your best Looney Tunes dunce voice) I was yelling at the screen for the bears to just eat him. I've seen it at least 3 times now, and it does get funnier each time.
