I replaced mine only because it was 25 years old. It was working fine but I did not want to wait for it to fail. Think of all the heat cycles it has endured for 20 something years. I don't know what the designed life of that sensor is, but I did not want a failure while out on the road. I bought the head sensor, O2 sensor & both reference sensors because they were all original. I feel better knowing they have all been replaced.

Well... That guy called me back.. Wants to trade me his duc 750 Monster... Needs a "tune up" a headlight... battery...
Uhh... Not just no but fuch no... But if you wanna bring me some chingola I will hold it for you no problemo... Even put it inside... Supposed to bring me money saturday.... |
We had our big blizzard three weeks ago today. All the snow at my house should be gone by tomorrow. It is unusual for any snow or ice to last more than a week in Oklahoma. Good riddance, I hope we never get snow again.

a 750 ducati that has been abused will cost a lot of money. i bet it needs valve adjustment/belts, the whole enchilada. plus, i think they only run what, 65 horses?
|
Yeah, but this is Sid, he can make it alright
|
Wait for it.... I feel a video from Sidney..
Something about his 944. |

I don't want a bike right now... I told the kid... Bring me ben franks.... |
Will that defense hold up in court? "Dave made me do it"
|
Beans and franks?
|
Rick I doubt it... But I hadn't planned on posting it here...but I figured y'all would ask what he was talking about... So I saved myself the effort...

Oh Schumi... I talked to the autocross chair... He gave your formula car a green light... I only have one question.... Can I drive it? Even real slow?
|
Morning guys,
removed the rest of the sheet metal yesterday and the oilcooiler, only to find out that the knock off P201 that Stijn and I bought is a very very poor fit..., it will need some adjusting, grinding and welding... Hey what can you expect, it only cost 1/6th of a genuine Porsche item... If I find a garage, workshop I can rent cheap, I'm doing my whole car. (right now, the car is at my parents place, I can remove and disassemble the engine there, but an entire car is a bit too much...) It seems such a shame to be putting a new engine in a dirty old car.... |

already told you, i give 500 bucks for your roller, 700 if you throw in those wheels the repro p201 , add plate where the bolt's go, drill through... still can't fit it with hte internal oilcooler, but except for that, it will be good |
Stijn,
in the curved part of the P201 (repro), the holes are very close to the side. A bit too close for comfort even.... Well, actually, the bottom hole is not close enough to the side. It does not fit between the stud and the little edge on the crankcase... Like I said, some grinding and welding and it shoud work... But I don't have a welding machine.... ps; (I'll have to decline your offer to purchase my car for 500, but thanks anyway :p) |
