We fly over some trash heaps in other parts of the country. We can measure the volume of a pile of stuff or a hole in the ground.

All the trash piles here are measured by the truckload. They have a truck counter clicker and they weigh every truck as it comes and goes.

We do a lot of stockpiles for companies that have the county tax folks after them for every penny of production. If you have a pile or a pit we can measure the volume and tell them the total number of cubic feet of whatever the stuff is. It can be any product stored in a pile, coal or gravel or magic fairy dust.

The job I mentioned above is a photo for their wall for the company to use in planning. They can look at it and see the difference of what they are hauling. We give them the volume totals but that is for the bean counters. The picture is for the workers to see what is going on and where.

One of my projects for the weekend is an oil change and a valve adjustment on the 911. And a full detail of the 911.

I always wax the 911 before and after a long road trip. The before helps a lot but the after makes me feel better. The interior really needs a good cleaning after all the miles. The dirty pig of a driver made a mess, tracked grass and dirt into the carpets and fingerprinted up everything.

Yea, the dude is the one that put all the miles on the car!

He has made some bonehead mechanical mistakes that I had to fix. He wear out the tires and uses up all the gas and I have to fill the tank.

Does he bring the car back in one piece? Might want to keep him just limit his big trips to once a year.

Well it is his car.

I don't have to pay him to for the honor of working on it. He even provides an air conditioned (or heated in the winter) garage with a lift and beer in the fridge. He will let me mow the yard this weekend.

Poor thing you have to mow. I'd take his 911 for a spin.

I think I will do both of those!

In fact I am going home early just so I can drive that 911 some more.
