Great water pressure on that drinking fountain.

I just printed all of my Subaru transcripts, a years worth of work in my hand. I have to say eleven pages of training in a year, no wonder I am tired.

One of my friends is the Chief mechanic at the local Porsche dealership. It seems like he is away on training all the time. With all the Porsche models coming out he is always presented with new problems. He says he has little time to actually work on a car as every mechanic in the shop comes to him with a problem. He has been doing Porsche repair since the mid 1980s. He said he used to average three 911 valve adjustments per day when the air cooled 911s we new. He is a great resource to call and ask a question about my car when I am stumped.

He had to do a clutch replacement on a Carrera GT. He let me look at the car as it was all apart. That is a tiny little EXPENSIVE clutch.

I am sure I will secure employment, it is will I get the job I want and can my son come up with the cash to buy my house before I run out of money to pay the mortgage while I am not living here any more.
I have to say Beth is very stoked about the move but her mother is pi55ed beyond belief. I told the MIL that we have raised our kids, it is time for us to live our lives for us and that is what we are going to do. Her comment is that "you can't do that, you have to stay here because of the family"
Sorry lady Beth and I don't see it that way

Well off to the interview that I missed yesterday. Time to secure a job here just in case.

I like Clara's character better. Amy was brilliant for the first 3/4 of her time on the show and was great with her sword. Her personality changed a lot during her run. Poor Martha didn't get to have much of a run with the Doctor and Donna doesn't remember a thing of her long run. I think she may be based on Azzy with her humor and zeal.

Jenny would have been great had she been able to hang with the Doctor a season or two.

I haven't seen Peter as the Doctor yet. As good as David?

I used to watch the show years ago when it was Tom Baker and Peter Davison (David Tennants father in law, funny) and so on.

Max, it was usually more than one companion at a time. There are exceptions, Rose, Perry, Clara.

Rick, have fun on the trip. See if you can get some duck calls from Richard on the way through.

It has been raining a lot here. Glad it wasn't snow or we would be looking like Buffalo.

My preference for Amy is really based solely on the fact that I want a short tempered, red-haired Scotswoman to hurt me.

Amy was a Solo companion as well for a good chunk of her time.

Capaldi is excellent.

Even a petition but to no avail. The station quit showing it and there was no other resource back in the olden days of analog.

The special effects were on par with local high school stage production and it helped that it was in fuzzy low def TV broadcast. Nothing nearly as "good" as the original Star Trek special effects.
Ah, ok then. It's on BBC America (currently between seasons but there will be a Christmas day special).

The special effects are contemporary for the most part but the kept the cheezy look of the Daleks and Cybermen and some of the other characters for the die hard fans I guess. Doesn't bother me.

Lately it has been one main companion plus a few that are on the sidelines until later in the season when they can come along too. Seems like it is usually just boyfriends and parents who find out about where the girl has been. Jack and River being exceptions.

Ah, River was an exception to a lot of things. Loved that story arc.

Oh , and I meant Jenny the Doctor's daughter, not Jenny Flint that hangs with Madame Vastra and Strax.

Didn't David Tennant marry the chick who played his daughter?
