Well surprise surprise, I just got a call from the service manager at Mercedes offering me a job. Problem is Mercedes is owned by the same parent company that owns the Subi dealership I just left. They better make this well worth my time when I roll in there on monday

Well, between having to drill the driveshafts off and then bashing the truck through lots of gunk and mud yesterday.....the outdrive bearings in the transmission failed.....I just went ahead and ordered the full kit of bearings to do the entire truck. Hey Rick, what does your son think about using automotive lithium bearing grease in an rc transmission??? Dedicated RC grease is like $8 for a really tiny tube...

raining, sat out on the front porch this morning to have our first cup of coffee, wasn't too bad, watching the rain, didn't even have a long sleeved shirt on, wasn't too bad.
Stevo is off again to the airport to fly down to Charleston SC to meet another C17 and load up and ship another big thing back to Oz. He will be gone all week again, hope its not raining down there, it will not be pleasant all that loading **** and readying the cargo in the rain.
