Seems brighter outside than it was earlier when I decided to crawl back into that warm comfy spot and I hear birds, must be morning.

I have load leveling air bags on the Elky. I don't ever carry much of a load, but Hauling much of anything will make it a low rider. The air bags are perfect for my uses. It came stock with air shocks which never last er more than 12 months. After changing them several times I with with Bilstiens and air bags.

My brother in law is a heavy equipment mechanic. Working on earth movers and bulldozers for almost 30 years. He injured his hand and was off work for a while. He went in for physical therapy on his hand and they wanted a base line strength. He surprised the therapist with a reading better than most people achieve when done with therapy. When he finished the therapy everyone gathered around to see what his hand strength was going to measure out at. He pegged the meter. I never want to get into hand shake hand squeezing contest with him.

It really snuck up on me, Rick. I was barely getting used to weekend living.

In a month we're off to SoCal for another work-cation. We have two more work-cations planned before we finally bail out of the workforce. Can. Not. Wait.

Good Monday morning everyone.

Wow, what a pretty weekend. The high was a nice mid 70s and light breeze. Partly cloudy so we could not fly any projects but great weather to be outside. We did not hit 90 degrees at all in May. It is 57 and partly cloudy this morning. It is like Monterey without the traffic.

We're in the mid-70s for our overnight lows.

Well Sunday was nice enough to get the hay cut that was in the yard. Also shoveled a bunch of sand from the old sand box to the newer, bigger one in a new location. I have more to shovel but it will have to wait until Tuesday.

We have three choices for internet where we live. Satellite, DSL or a long distance wireless using the Motorola canopy system. We had the long range wireless and it was good but they got bought out and the quality went downhill fast and there would be multiple days in a row without service. Now we have 12Mb DSL for the same price and it has been reliable.

Only one ball game between all of us this week. 4 next week.

Watched a couple videos with Travis Haley in the NRA Freestyle Challenge and showing some of the training he was giving a couple of the hosts. He has a fast trigger finger and seems to be precise and accurate.

Satellite internet sucks. If it rains or snows, you'll lose service. edit: Your choice of DSL sounds like the prudent one, Brent.

I did get the brake fluid changed on the 911 yesterday. That went as expected.

This weekend is supposed to get close to 90 so I will check the AC pressures. Last summer on one real hot day it did not cool down like it normally does. It was working great yesterday in 75 degree temps.

I just looked at the 10-day forecast for here in DC and most days have at least a 50% chance of rain. I also looked at the forecast in SoCal, and it was sunny everyday, with highs in the 70s.

That's our normal winter day time temps in the middle of Oz. A cold day is anything below 20C. Nights are now getting into single digits, brrr (pass the port please).

Supposed to be mid 70s all week but rain later in the week. Again.

Hope Saturday is OK weather wise. It would be nice to go up to a lake and fish/swim/grill/hang out for a bit and relax for a change.

It was pretty nice here until about 4:00 Saturday, then all hell broke loose 70 mph wind 3" of rain, and low 50 degree temps for the rest of Sat, Sun, and today. I was able to take advantage of the cool weather and split and stack up two truck loads of firewood with the splitter.

We are cooling off here this week, mid 80's and thunderstorms all week, or at least a chance of them, Hey it ain't cold, and it ain't snow, I'll take it. I really can't wait for late june through late august. We should be in the 90's every day, and usually rain once a week, Hot Humid yeah baby, bring it
