Oh yea, part of the fun I had was cutting several limbs from the pear tree. It filled up the big roll around trash can.

Welp, looks like I can install up to two more copies of OS X on VMware Fusion on the same machine. Now going to have to put more bigger memory sticks in my 2nd Mac Mini so I can play with Fusion and see how it works.

Correction, looks like it is way more trouble than just running two boxes.

Lawns mowed, threw a bit of grass seed around to fix some patches, and watered in the barkers eggs.

Just in time for beer o'clock (and a few oysters for dinner)

Good Monday morning.

It was 38 this morning. Almost, but not quite too cold for shorts. It is supposed to get into the 60s today so it will be better. I only had to fetch the trash cans from the curb before driving to work. I handled that 60 seconds of cool air.

It didn't feel like 38°F dragging my trash can to the curb...it must be a dry cold?

Goofy weather. It is 61 now and supposed the get up to 63 today, 72 tomorrow.

I just made a quick run to a local grocery store for some fruit. I saw several ladies dressed up in heavy winter coats. I was in shorts and t-shirt. I was comfortable and they were likely cold. I am the normal one.

It is supposed to get up to 62 and sunny today.

When I played softball in El Centro we played in weather like this. I would show up in shorts and a t-shirt for practice and others would have several layers of sweats on. They started calling me Iceman. For work there I showed up in dress shorts and a polo everyday.

Yesterday we were working in the yard and getting the pool closed up and I think it was the first time I wore jeans instead of shorts even though it was sunny out.
A month from now we will be bundled up waiting for deer to come by. Then we will probably still hunt and I will have to take a bunch of layers off. For my entire life I always sweat easily. A few years ago I had my blaze orange vest over a sweatshirt. A couple years ago I had my winter coat on for the walk because it was -25*. That was stupid. The deer weren't going anywhere in weather like that.

That'll teach me!

Left my Debit Card on my desk. Instead of in my Wallet on my desk.
Woke up this morning to a plastic crunching sound.
Pepper had gotten the card off my desk and was in the process of chewing it up.
Had to go 2 whole miles to my Bank Branch and get a new one.
Now I have to go to all my accounts that use it and change the card numbers. arg.

If I give them a card that is obviously chewed up, why can't they issue another card with the same freakin number?!? It's not like the card was lost or stolen!

Speaking of cards... Someone got ahold of one of my card numbers this weekend and tried to charge 3k on it. Chase shut that down and cleared the charges.

Now how do I dispose of the old card? Its one of them fancy metal ones, skissors won't cut it!

Tin Snips, Plasma Torch, Lawn Mower, Cut off Saw, Hack Saw...some more dangerous than others.

Or what would be really funny...
Go to hardware store. Tell the assistant you are looking for some metal cutters. Pull out your card commenting that it is about the same as what you are working on, let's see how easy it cuts. Then after cutting it, and getting the helper to cut on it too..."Oh Nooo, I can't buy anything. We just cut up my card!!" ha ha ha ha.

OK MS Office gurus. Why does Excel hang when opening a spreadsheet from an email in Outlook or downloaded from the web but not from a local or stored on a network drive?

I'll pass on the offer thanks Rick.

The front lawn is little over twice the size of the back lawn. On a bad day it'll take 45 minutes to do both lawns. Plenty big enough for a 40+ summer day. The remaining yard space is arid garden (small natives, etc). I'm thinking about cutting some more of the front lawn out and expanding the arid garden to cut down on more water use.

Not that water is a problem - we sit on top of a humongous underground basin. There's about 10,000 years of water at the current usage.
