Monday is when the weather channel talks about the week's outlook.
You keep your TV on the weather channel all the time now that you are retired, right?

Monday is laundry day.
Man, it is hard for me to take the high road when dealing with a family member who needs to wake up and realize burning bridges will be bad. My 27 YO niece has totally pulled away from her parents including blocking FB and texts. Her Dad is my BIL who had heart surgery recently. She has only been to see him once in the past month. This is tearing my sister up and she has always been the strongest one and helped all of us over the years. I want to tell her to remove her head from the rear end but don't think that would help.

I had to break down and go see my GP Doctor. I started with an allergy attack that morphed into a sinus infection and accompanying sore throat from drainage and a cough. I don't have a temperature or feel achy at all. My doc has a 1987 911 so we always talk Porsche. I brought him a photo of my car that he had seen in the local PCA magazine and he liked.
![]() Just a little print, 25 inches wide. ![]() Hopefully the antibiotics will clear up the sinus infection ASAP.

Sid, our condolences on your loss. I do understand that mix of grief and relief. Wayne, she probably wouldn't hear you with her head that far past the sphincter. We had some big fires nearby when we lived in El Centro. They exported a lot of hay and stored it in large steel buildings. Even the big I beams would turn into noodles on those. One that was just a couple miles from our house out there was so hot the fire trucks couldn't get within a quarter mile for a while. The fire was started by a lightning strike. My sister had some points in a time share she had to use up so loaned them to us to go to Wisconsin Dells. It was nice to be up there before all the water parks were open. We went hiking, horseback riding, go karts and stuff like that. The place we stayed had an indoor water park for the kids.

Friend bought a new lens and brought it to the autocross to take pictures. Almost all of the pictures really sucked. There was no blur or sense of motion. It was a really fast telephoto lens. When I told him he needed to stop it down and lengthen the exposure he looked at me like I was crazy.

You probably are crazy, but that doesn't mean you aren't right.

Guy got pulled over for speeding near a hospital. The officer asked where he was going in such a hurry. He told the officer he was having a window installed and pointed to his gut. Sad it was so he could see with his head so far up his butt. The officer let him off.

I was just digging through the spam folder of the automatically rejected spam for legit email. The good news is it was all spam.
It was almost funny how some of the spammers must work together on a subject. I had one for a divorce lawyer, then one for hot Arabian women, then one about my Russian girlfriend, next one for breast enlargement and then for private jet rentals and finally a private crewed yacht. Dang I guess they think I won the lottery, need a divorce to find some Arab chick or a Russian girlfriend with small boobs that I can buy her a nice pair and then celebrate by flying in my private jet to the South of France and get on my yacht. Little do they know if I won the lottery I would keep my wife but maybe get a few new Porsches and jet rental, yacht rental and Russian or arab girlfriends are not even on the list of wants and are on the list of really don't want.

But think of all you aren't missing out on!
I think I found some early infomercials. If you don't watch all of them, at least watch starting at 7:45 on #2. That poor Caddy!

Everyone thinks of it as water parks, but there is quite a bit more than that. Jacob rode with me in the double kart and we let Emily catch up so we could have a race. She has a bit of target fixation and drifted our way when racing side by side. Jacob was telling her the whole time how we were going to win and this and that. The second track we had a crappy double but she passed everyone.
![]() ![]() This is NOT one of the parks, just a hotel there. ![]()

When I had the cadillac surgery there was a third set of drops I had to put in after surgery. Only have two now. From what I can tell that third eye drop kept it from hurting. But then again, it didn't turn all red either. Looks like one of those weirdos that has their eyeball tattooed red. Might have been fun if they could have installed a backlight so my eye would light up red. Heck might be fun if it lit up any color come to think of it. Oh no, did't mean to give those tattooed weirdos any ideas.
Well it still hurts and it seems fairly obvious I can't take another pain pill yet. ![]() I have a couple of trash bins in the house. The one in the kitchen has an electric eye operated lid. When you get close with your trash it opens so you can toss something, then closes. My other trash bin is normal. Pepper thinks the open topped one is a source for items to chew up like her toy basket. Wonder if I can train her to put trash in the trash bin instead of taking it out and shredding it. Have never been able to train one of my dogs to put it's toys back in the basket.

I bought a new USB drive for the new stereo for the 911. The stereo and the USB drive are here, I just need to install the new Stereo.
The USB drive is a 32 gig tiny little bitty thing I would hate id I was planning on moving it around much. I plan to plug it in a let it ride. As a computer geek is still blows me away that that little thing holds 32 gig, is USB 3 and it cost me a whopping 10.5 bucks delivered my door. I distinctly remember when the Segate designers came walking in with on of the new one GIG hard drive and it was the "new" size that is 100% standard now. They said retail was going to be over 2 grand and of course is was a SCSI interface. I drooled all over that drive and they would not let me keep it. ![]() Here is a drive that is 32 times bigger and I bet orders of magnitude faster and cost less than most lunches.

Wonder when they will start making processors faster again instead of just adding cores.
Been thinking of getting a subwoofer enclosure that goes in the spare tire area on the 928. It holds a 10inch sub and a 6 channel amp. The stock amp is to small to replace with a newer one both in watts and size. In fact, most newer head units have more power than the stock amp. Thinking of getting a Kenwood because the face doesn't have any of the blingy chrome on it and the display color can be set to match the cars digital screen. It's looks matches the car pretty good and it has all the new stuff like bluetooth, siri control of iPhone, etc. No NAV in single din stuff. Pretty much given up on the double din install, just way too much change to the center console to fit. Though would be cool to have a carputer. Won't mess with the tunes until it actually moves under it's own power again though.

The mouse that our male dog got was trying to hide behind the rain barrel. He was wedged between the barrel and the brick wall of the house. That full barrel ain't gonna move much but I could shake it enough to dislodge mister mouse. Reuben was just a few inches behind the mouse at a full run. He chased it to a corner of the back porch and finally got it.

For the last week they have been warning us about tomorrow night's weather. We will be weather watchers for sure tomorrow. The odds are good for bad weather mainly large hail.

If I had a hidy hole, would make sure it is clean, debugged, and well stocked. It is that time of year.
