The guy in Denver got the Cayenne S. Texted: It got here. Washed it and drove it around for an hour. She's beautiful and I'm in love!

Yeah, haven't had that kind of response from any of the other car brands I've sold.

928 mechanic in Dallas sold his old pickup.
He was interested in my Cayenne, had tried to talk his wife into buying it for the daughter.
Wife said the Cayenne would leave her stranded on the side of the road for hours and they got a Toyota.
Driving the 1000 miles back to College the Toyota left her stranded for hours and had to be towed.
To replace his pickup again wanted my Cayenne but had to get a Range Rover from his in-laws that upgraded to a newer model.
He did get a really good deal though.
I asked him if he had met the dark prince yet...He said. Shut up.

Morning all.

We are trying to figure out the price for selling my wife's 2008 Infinity G35x. She turned 36,000 miles yesterday so she did not exactly wear it out. She had to replace the battery twice and one light bulb. Other than that is has been flawless. Hoping for 14K or so.

Oh yea, if any of y'all come down to Oklahoma and head over to Henryetta, OK it is now legal to dance there now. They changed the law yesterday, so cut the rug!

We looked at a couple of those when we bought our last car. Just the RWD versions though.

She really wanted a all wheel drive car because she still had to commute to and from work back then. Of course all Macans are 4 wheel drive.

She drove Mercedes since the 1980s and they were all just horrible at snow and ice traction. Her last Mercedes was a 1999 E-320. It would not get up our driveway is there was any slick stuff at all. My El Camino just went right up.

Morning all.

Glen how hard is it to add a person to the parade thing. The oldest decided he may want to tag along.

Super easy. Right now they only did the initial sign in. Next month or so the main signup happens. That is where you add the events you want to attend and buy meals and sign up for trips. It would not hurt to send the parade registrar a note now that you have one more coming. The main registration is the important part. They will let us know when that is gonna happen.

And to day Mother Nature brought snow. Only really up in the highlands. That of course is where my house is. Getting home might be fun tonight.

Yep, April 3rd at noon EST again.

That is when you pick the tours or events you want to attend. I doubt you are entering the concours and it is free to wander around at. They have a nice box lunch right at the concours. Otherwise you are on your own for food. We go to the dinners even though they are spendy mostly because it is easy and there are always new and old friends.

My wife loves the driving tours and going to see things we would have never done on our own.

Mackinac Island tour in 2013, The Indianapolis 500 track drive, Laguna Seca, and so on are just great. The sights we visited on the way to and from Jay Peak last year or the dinosaur national park on the way to Salt Lake City are all places we would never have done without Parade. And I have met new friends from all over the country.

To eat at Sehawk's farm and meet his wife. Meeting up with Pete and Ellen was wonderful.

Good Morning..almost missed it. Couldn't sleep.

KBB says 13,000 personal sale NADA says 16,000 retail so 14 should hit the spot. In all the evaluations I did on the Cayenne, the valuation that carfax listed on their report was right on the nose. KBB was low, everything else was high. Edmunds was the highest.

Not sure what I will do. I'll have to look at my options for those two and half days.

Yea, the serious concours weenies start 6 months out with a clean car and a team of people. They get to Parade a week before and spend time in the concours prep area and clean with a team of helpers. I apprecialt a nice looking clean car, but I can't see doing that to a to a driven car.

One of the members in the Tulsa club has a massive collection of Porsches. One of them is a Carrera GT. He entered it one year and looked around to see if any other Carrera GTs were entered. He was alone so he cleaned the bugs off the windshield and and said done. He won first is class.

There will be other 911s in my class in the concours that are just better than new even on the suspension and inside the fenders.

lets see here is a list:
Non-original seats.
A/C removed and plugged.
Foot well into smug box plated and fixed.
Non-original paint.
Strut bar in front.
Air pump and all hoses removed.
No cat - cat bypass in its place.
Non-electric antenna (who needs a radio)

But it runs its mine and I love it.

The ONLY important fact in your list. My car is a nice looking Carrera. It is so far from just a show car it is silly.

The inside of the fenders are covered in road grime. 17 inch aftermarket wheels and two extra condensers for the AC. I love it and would not sell for any remotely reasonable price. Only stupid money will get me to sell it. 50K or more.
