Some nights they do. We tend to have to get up early most days for one thing or the other. They have an entire Parade Kids group. Even for teenagers. They do things like go-cart tracks and water parks. We go to bed at 10:30 or so and listening to a band is not high on the list for us.

Onle of our local members that goes brings their grand daughter and her best friend. I would guess they are 14 or so. They only see them at bed time because they are so buys with Parade kids. Since we have no kids, I am ignorant on the entire program.

Yea, I don't know how old the Parade kids group gets to.

I am sure a 19 year old has WAY WAY different versions of fun that my wife and I.

When Parade was in Colorado they called and asked me to have my 928 GTS featured in a historical display for the concours. Even with non-stock suspension, wheels and exhaust. Said I would get a plaque, certificate, and trophy. Ended up not being able to go due to Mom's health issues.

At this point I think it is a great car if it just runs and drives!

Three years ago a guy offered me just $10K under what I considered stupid money. Couple of weeks ago a car that values about 15% less than mine sold for what was my stupid money then. Need to raise my stupid money to crazy stupid money and get it running an put more miles on it, LOL.

21 in the USA. It always seemed strange that an 18 year old can join the Army or Marines and go fight for the country, but they can't get a beer legally. At least they are volunteers now not draftees.

There were a couple of guys in HS that volunteered. Decided they didn't like it and went AWOL. They stole cars and all kinds of stupid stuff. Wonder how long they were in the brig.

AAA used to call those Trip Tics. That was before googlemaps.

Says Spokane is about 1750 miles from Edmond, 25hrs driving.

Hey all.

It was close to 70 here today. Played basketball with my daughter in a tshirt. I still suck.

Spent yesterday with my wife in the ER. Without too much detail, she has some problems with the girly bits. She will have some more tests done next week.

The best part was the goofy patients that I'm pretty sure were directly from Jerry Springer. One lady even got into a yelling match with a couple of nurses.

Hey, tomorrow is Friday!

Sometimes they deserve it.

When I was in the hospital with my foot thing the Surgeon told me that if I wanted to keep my foot to stay reclined and only get of out the bed to use the restroom period.

A physicial therapist came in and got all huffy on two separate occasions. Wanted me to get out of bed and go walking up and down the hallway. Told him only if the doctor told me it was okay.

Then I got a visit from the head nurse. She told me that she had ordered the physical therapy and I should do it. Told her the surgeon said to stay in the bed unless I wanted to lose my foot. She left in a huff as well.

At one point the Surgeon and a Doctor from the drug company where putting the magic powder stuff on my foot. While they were explaining it to me this obviously administrative head nurse came in and started barraging me with stupid questions. Basically the stuff all already answered in my file.

After interrupting the Doctors a couple of times they ask her what the h she was doing there. Said they were preforming a sterile procedure. Yelled at her to get out. I never saw her again.

The Surgeon told me that if I had done the physical therapy and walking like she had ordered he would have ended up having to amputate my foot about halfway from my knee to my ankle. Said I was luck he was on call when I came in and was one of the first people they used that new fairly dust stiff on.

In this case the lady was psycho, in my opinion. She had come in for stomach pains and was making barfing sounds and moaning loudly. Very dramatic. At 1pm she yelled that she had to leave to get to a doctor's appointment. That's when the arguing started because she was being combative and demanding to be "set free".

Made the time pass faster, though.

Good Friday morning all.

I am sure our trip up to Spokane will be even further that 1,750 miles. Like last year we will explore this great country some. My cousin lives in Bozeman, MT. Gotta stop there and see some of the sights. Their place is fairly close to Jellystone, and that is a must see. We wanna see some of the grand Tetons and I am sure my wife will figure out a route for us to take.

On our trip out to Sacramento, CA we hit about 14 National parks.
